Hardware Vita Slim build

So on Christmas of 2014 I got a Vita Slim and not 2 days later it slepped from my hands and fell 3ft onto the floor where the screen popped out of its socket apon impact only the wirey band holding it together. I picked it up and pushed the screen back into the adhesive that was under the screen an its good as new but now i never leave without a wristband on my Vita i also question the durability of the Slim anyone had any mishaps with the Vita Slim?

I only have a Vita 1000 but TBH sounds like a factory fault, the adhesive that holds the screen face plate is very strong and can only be removed with intense heat.

sux that it did that 2 days after walmarts 30 day warenty expired
