its much easier to just sell your 3ds to someone that just wants to play on amazon or local. and just go buy a new system with < 10.3.. my friend did it. yes we had to pay 60 bucks. but if you want a hacked system its not that much considering how long it takes for the scene to have options to downgrade to 9.2, right now is the sweet spot time to actually find a retail box with lower than 10.3, maybe some fancy skinned version that just came out isnt however. we got a 9.9 on our pick up. you don't wanna know how hard it was for me to find a 9.2 system, when i the downgrade option didn't exist. heck if you have a game to sell with your 3ds, you won't be losing anything, but gaining
Or, pay roughly the same amount for someone to hard mod it. Then you don't have to deal with Nintendo unlinking your NNID and a lot of other headaches.

People said that for kernel above 4.5
People said that for above 9.2

Now you are saying that for above 10.3

I sense a pattern...
people seem to misinterpret the word "never" as "not in a long time" instead of what it actually means: "not ever going to happen". same with the word "impossible": people think it means "no way to make this possible" when I feel it means more that "you haven't found a way to make it possible".

The logic is this, you will miss out in 3ds hacking and games while you wait for a solution. when the obvious solution is sell old system, buy new system with < 10.3 if you fail downgrade, remove soft brick and return to store saying it was an impulse buy. Don't return ever a bricked system. If you follow downgrade steps perfectly. like i should have, when i did 9.9 and took it straight to 9.2 which failed but i saved my butt with cubic ninja. is to do it whatever is known the safest way. i think which is to go 10.3 then downgrade to 9.2 idk. just was glad cubic ninja worked. just had to change qr code to correct version 9.2 or else it crashed and failed.

I could also just hardmod . 10 thousand times easier , and its safe downgrading.

If you have 0 experience with a soldering iron, I guarantee you will break your motherboard. Whatever modification you do to your 3ds, nothing is safe or fullproof because you're taking a risk. Here are your options:

1)Do the hard mod yourself (not recommended if no experience)
2)pay someone else to hard mod it for you
3)Sell your 3ds and get another one with 10.3 firmware or lower

plus if you fix the soft brick, you could also get support from nintendo if there was any other issues
