They didn't really block Ironfall though, they just forced you to update. There are no updates for Cubic Ninja, so their only option would be to lock users out of the game itself - which would be a PR nightmare, since users could simply claim they bought the game to play and feel robbed.
Oh, I see for the few
None
who bought the game just for the game

It's funny how they can block Ironfall, but not Cubic Ninja.

Don't think they can patch Cubic Ninja since the group who created it is supposedly defunct and there's no way for Nintendo to get the game files for it (Nintendo forced VDdev to create an update for Ironfall since they are still around). I'm surprised that they Nintendo hasn't created an update for OoT (or made Grezzo update it) and forced people to update to that though.

Will I be able to change my class to Nohr noble on Birthright through this since the data should be there

If you have access to ARCodes/Gateway Cheats/Fates Cheat Plugin (all through custom firmware), you can already do that. If you don't, it should be easy to do when Olmectron eventually releases support for Fates.

It is important to note that added Movement seems to be ignored by the StreetPass feature. My character drops from 28 to 6 on others' games.

I recalling trying to give some Grima units a good amount of Movement, but they reset to 0 through StreetPass as well. Guess StreetPass even ignores the legal amount of +2 Movement that you could get on a unit.

So uh... Fire emblem cheating related (Fates)

I have a My Castle with every single crystal and nutrient building using the NTR cheat for that - which got me what people call 'shadow banned'. Basically I can still do all online features, but other's can't access my data. Frankly I do not mourn because I really could care less about others accessing my data....

Either way - it is worth noting that when editing saves for Fates and using the online stuff it is vital to stay within legal boundaries. Worth noting as well is the 'buying skills' from other castles which allows for i.e. Takumi to legally have Death Blow (legally by means of Marriage Seal i guess). Giving this example as Takumi is a crit monster with that.

Edit: So wiping save data in-game and importing only Chapter 0,1 and 2 doesn't reset castle address which leads me to believe this data is stored in the extdata. If it would be known what the extdata folder for FE:Fates is I'm willing to attempt deleting that and checking if My Castle address is changed then.

Yeah it's entirely possible. Also, it seems that Witch and Ballistician exist in the games code as well, and I've even encountered a castle online that had a unit with witch skills on it. Also seen several people with Anna so it seems that the legality checks aren't as heavy as one might think.

Removing bonus move points from Logbook avatars is to prevent people from using the two-savefile exploit to give logbook avatars insane move points and making an army of 7 units that can run around the map like crazy with galeforce and such, is my guess.

That is weird. Isn't it technically possible to get 99 of every food and crystal in My Castle? Did you use any other cheats that could have caused you to be shadow-banned?

Yeah, there's an ARCode that allows you to use the Parallel (Heart now) Seal to change into any class in the game, male or female. That's how people can change their units into "DLC" classes or enemy only classes.

I visited a castle with music from Awakening. oh ok. And this, haha
