Sorry for being so vague, I meant will the backlight turn on faster than using Aureinand with A9LH does currentlyFaster than what? Booting OFW/vanilla sysNAND? I guess it would be a bit quicker in terms of when the backlights come on.

If the screeninit is skipped, we have regular a9lh yes? You guys can init the screen after key reading for boot selection to show up? That would have best of both worlds!Probably, since it'd be A9LH itself doing it, but it doesn't really matter when the backlights come on, if you're not using some sort of a boot menu or recovery menu (i.e. if you're just booting into CFW, it doesn't matter when the backlights come on)

So maybe they've solved it by figuring out screen de-init already.
Score. They have. It's a simple matter of setting 4 registers to 0. Bam, screen off. No 3D bug.
Well it's been a lot of work, but thanks to all of the hard work done we now have screeninit integrated into the stage2 payload

sorry for crappy camera work but it was all I could do... this is currently being cleaned up and then there'll be a pull request to delebile's repo![]()
Nice I can have Maki back on my screen at Boot.Cakes is slightly ahead of the curve, it has the screen de-init stuff (but no code's or release's been pushed yet). Shouldn't be hard to get regular Reinand showing its splash, then turning off the screens for those who want it.

Perfect with MSET I was getting Maki about 95% but 100%, That's something that makes me excited! In theory she should show up 100% of the time, too.
it'll only require a partial recompile, but binaries are also distributable... I'm making an updater with screen init baked in so you guys can have some user prompts and not fly blindWell done! Does this require a recompile then?

That makes no sense whatsoever. There is no entry point if you do a9lh. You are already 'entered' as soon as you turn the power on. for almost everything else that doesn't come as a .cia, just launch hblauncher_loader from the home screen to load whatever your boot.3dsx is (HBL, gridlauncher, ctrbootmanager, etc...). Using Ironhax is a complete waste of time if you have a9lh.Question: If I downgraded my o3ds without formatting and went through all the steps to install A9LH is there a chance that the ironhax update block could be bypassed? I just personally prefer it as an entry point and with recent developments ensuring a huge amount of control of the 3ds I would like to know if it would be possible to keep ironhax as a future HB entry point?
