I have two 3DSs, one on 10.6 with a SKY3DS+, the other on 9.2 with CFW.

I'd like to use the 9.2 one to extract a header so I can put it on my SKY3DS+. As I understand it, I need to have Gateway launcher.dat on the SD root and then scan the QR code using Cubic Ninja. I put the launcher.dat (and only that, right?) from the Gateway website on the SD root, and tried to scan the QR. Every time I try, an error occurs causing Cubic Ninja to close, and then the system resets.

I'm positive I'm scanning the right region, and I've tried the launcher.dat from both the GW 3.4 "Ultra" and 3.7.1-BETA "Ultra". No difference.

I've also tried it using an installed cia of Cubic Ninja from within CFW and with a .3DS ROM on the SKY3DS+ not in CFW.

Am I doing something stupid?

The classic-browserhax launcher.dat + go.gateway-3ds.com website does not go through cubic ninja, that QR is probably supposed to be opened via browser (the L+R quick camera on the home screen).

Recent versions of Gateway have a 3dsx loader, but if you want to use that, you should scan the regular Ninjhax2 QR in-game!

So what should I do? Should I get the 3dsx loader then? That launches from HBL, right?

What's the file that I need called?

If you want to go 3dsx, put launcher.dat (from Gateway) and boot.3dsx (from Ninjhax2 starter pack) on SD, then create a "3ds" folder on the SD root and put Gateway's 3dsx inside it (you can also find this somewhere in Gateway's zip), then in Cubic Ninja scan the QR for your version (get it from Ninjhax2's website)!

Great! That did it! Thank you for your help!
