I don't liked the diea of FEamie too but I don't think it must be removed on a localization but beh it's not only a simple localziation and translation, it's a age rating decrease, Some people do mix everything like on thing (well lot's of localization come with this "extra", but is something not much acceptable... like batman's Joker, he is a pscopat charcater, an good adult theme but hey let's make a cute lego version and sell to the kids because money yay

I am actually playing the translated version right now, I am still running into untranslated spots, but it's still a pretty solid translation. But I am hoping with the US version being already uploaded to that iso site, there might be a complete translation with it.

It's a video game. It tells a story, and it isn't required to be mature. If you wanna have Lewd Simulator 20XX, then go play the fan dub, or some more lewd game on your PC, or watch hentai or something. The lack of sexy times in a Nintendo game shouldn't influence the playability of the game.

There's a reason the stuff was removed, and it's not censorship - different things are socially acceptable in Japan and America. Face rubbing isn't socially acceptable.

I really don't see all this "censorship" drama - all the face rubbing and mature stuff would likely deter people who aren't massive weebs from playing the game anyways. Massive weebs are pretty much the only ones who care about the face rubbing and lewd stuff. Most others just want to play the game.

There's a reason it has American voice acting: oh yeah, we live in America. Not everyone hates dubbing like anime fans do so much. Same goes - Japanese language and the lack of a dub would confuse non-weebs.

What they could've and should've done is released some DLC pack or patch or something on the eShop that adds back in the face rubbing and sexy crap and Japanese voices. Fire Emblem Fates: Massive Weeaboo Version.

TL;DR: The game isn't designed to cater to your weeb lewd face rubbing crap. Get over it.

It's the fact America (if not anymore countries...? )is receiving different version of the same game, when America doesn't even have laws that censor nudity or anything sexual or something for that matter. If a teacher is handing out 1 dollar per student as a treat for the class being good for ( insert reason here ), and Stacy get 2 dollars and Johnny get 3 dollars, it's unfair. We should get the same game as Japan does; in fact, Japan has much more strict laws on pornography than the USA does, it makes no sense. ( Not implying this game contains nudity. )

I don't live in america but as much as possible I like the idea that it got a localization due to popular demand. The point not being about it being a dating hentai sim game, rather the mature content it originally had that it tried to portray to the audience, much like books. I loved the Japanese release and I sat through playing all 3 arcs (Even when the Invisible Kingdom was more japanese than english translated), everything just blended the way it should, they even picked the perfect people for the voice acting. But the English version just screams of a quick cash grab with family fun values. When will Ninty ever learn that their target audience has never been kids but rather the 80-90's kids who are now in their late 20's hoping Nintendo doesn't still treat them like kids. Nintendo really needs to learn to separate what's Mature content games vs General Audience games rather than make it all fall under one category.

Books don't hold back on the mature content they are portraying and especially on the language filter. Like I don't know if you've played the Japanese version, but it REALLY does give you a hard time to choose the ultimate waifu because of the Class A acting and script.

TL:dr Fuck ninty, they're like an over protective religious mom who as a result, her son will never get laid even in college. "Cover your eyes son! Cleavage is the devils work!"

Edit: Did I forget to mention that there are some LGBT characters in-game? And Nintendo has taken out any voice acting that's remotely close to one?

I remember some AU people complaining about that ... and was about FE lol ) with probably no change to re think because here we don't see stuff the same way...

FE haven't come on NES because the complexity for american kids(according the mind of people that do these stuff) and was hiden from western until smash DX/melee that the character's charisma piked up people (I heard that Marth and Roy where almost cut out of american release ), FE was even nintendo most mature game (not by the fanservice :v this is new on the series...) and people still want to be blind and say that nobody likes it and it should have less FE characters on smash ... haha
This still so evident that they worked on the 2DS aiming kids, and looked like even the japanese nintendo knew about it because it even messed with Zelda ALBW development :B some friends joke that Reggie waited to Iwata go sleep to tell about the console hahaha

All text translated, U.S updates and i can keep a .3ds version and not have to use .cia version.
