I don't understand why so many people want sysNAND CFW anyway.
Sure, A9LH is a safety net in itself with the proper implementation, but why settle for ONE safety net when you can have TWO safety net?
The only drawbacks I can really think of are DSiWare and GBA VC titles, but that seems like a kind of pointless thing to throw away safety features over.
Plus, like @daxtsu said, SD cards are cheap and disposable, whereas the eMMC is not.
I know it might take decades to wear out, but that shit stacks up over time.

Basically, he's saying that a proper CFW that boots sysnand via a9lh would need to patch the update routine to prevent a9lh from being overwritten during system updates. It's probably something that can be done. Just hasn't been done yet.

Most people who did this have hard mods anyways it takes 5-10 min to write back your nand.

Things are progressing super fast this reminds me of the PSP scene way back when. I wouldn't be surprised the moment we mentioned it someone is tinkering away right now.

Even if you decide to keep using an emunand as your primary working environment, it would still be awesome to have a9lh be able to survive sysnand updates. Then if your friend/cousin/dog updates your sysnand on accident it's no big deal.

You cannot load sysnand without to change the payload so far i know
But yes it would be good

I personally use signpatched 9.2 sysNAND firm, so I can boot into reiNAND emuNAND from HBL_CIA if I want, too. So, yeah, I think it's good to have that. Looks more like a safety net.
 
True, it would be a lot harder if not impossible to boot sysnand at all given the proper al9h setup. But at the same time, we all know that when you make a system idiot-proof, they go and design better idiots to attack your system with <_<

On my n3ds rei emunand i can use ntr

It worked after a reboot. Ignore my first post :P

I autoboot emunand with a9lh which is pretty cool. Instant 100% boot rate and it's impossible to touch sysnand without changing payloads. :P

Yeah I'm happy with things setup this way. One day I'd go to sysnand only, but only once we have some sort of boot protection for potential sysnand bricks.

Got my bootloader running, will push the uncleaned code later to my bootloader branch of my arm9loaderhax fork, together with simple bootloader loader code.
Oh nice! Is it going to be a payload? Or are we going to have to reinstall Arm9LoaderHax?
