Possibly if you are bricked too. I'll probably need to get a thinner solder, the one I have is too risky. Or just pay someone to hardmod
Wait, you got bricked after installing arm9loaderhax?

Damn, I assumed you were safe after you updated to 9.2 and already obtained the OTP.

You have the arm9loaderhax.bin in the root of the SD? With arm9loaderhax the console don't start the home menu, only run the arm9loaderhax

I have arm9loaderhax.bin at the root. It's the one provided here - https://gbatemp.net/threads/source-release-reinand-n3ds-cfw.394309/page-193#post-6080515 Other than that, just rei 3.2. I didn't think anything else needed to be done with Rei.

Maybe I've not done something right with that file/rei, who knows. What is the normal process for the 3dsx file? Mines ran, installed some things and then black screened. I assume it auto-reboots?

You have a new 3DS? reinand only work on new and you need all the files needed to launch reinand not only the arm9loaderhax.bin

Yup new. Yeah I have all the Rei files on the SDcard. Only thing I added was the arm9loaderhax.bin.

If someone else has some sort of other arm9loaderhax.bin I will try it. Could only find the one in the Rei thread.

Rei did say this "To get it to run on a9lh, you need to comment out loadSplash in main.c because since you're running it before kernels are setup, LCD isnt initialized." I just assumed the 3.2 build on git was arm9 ready. Possibly not.

Everything works downgrade and upgrade again and now the arm9loaderhax installer (craches?) and bricked the n3ds

Try this http://gbatemp.net/attachments/vtp-zip.38988/ turn on your console and after 4 o 5 secs press any button if the 3DS is turned off the arm9loaderhax is properly installed.

Considering how A9LH fundamentally requires injecting to NAND, it's no surprise that the method is still inherently dangerous.
Potentially controversial opinion time:
It's a pretty neat hack in how it's much faster than Theme/Shufflehax, but all in all and considering the risks and implications, I personally don't think it's worthwhile for your average end-user and should be disregarded if all you're looking for is faster boot times.

Downloading the zip and simply taking the arm9loaderhax.bin file out of it and onto your sd card? That's all I did, turned on, obviously screen still black, waited 5 seconds and then pushed A.
Now it works the 3ds doesn't recognize my sdcard first but now it works
