So I have a J3DS with bootmanagerctr RXtools and the homebrew launcher. Is it possible to change the homebrew launcher cia to boot say hbl.3dsx as default instead of bootctr since that is boot.3dsx. It gets really annoying really fast. Thanks in advance!

Open the payload in a text editor, search for 'boot.3dsx', there should be 2 results. rename both to "whatever.3dsx" and save.

Actually. Then how will that affect menuhax? If the ctrbootmanager is set to boot.3dsx will it not boot ctr but instead the HBL?

menuhax will autoboot what ever the payload tells it to...

i would recommend that you edit the boot.cfg instead for ctrbootmanager, and have it boot something else.

In the payload, change the timeout to 10.'that will give you enough time to select you HBL.3dsx file.

Yes but I want ctr too boot at menu hax do I can easily access RXTools. However when I boot the Homebrew Menu launcher as a CIA it also boots ctrtool since that is now named boot.3dsx which is what I do not want.

Ah, then you should do the following... this is my setup.

Rename boot.3dsx to auto.3dsx, then change the payload to load auto.3dsx, rename hbl.3dsx to boot.3dsx.

may need to change your boot.cfg to point the right .3dsx

So I did that but I only see one boot.3dsx in the hex editor so I changed that to auto changed boot.3dx to auto.3dsx and changed hbl.3dx to boot.3dsx it just boots up the homebrew launcher not ctr
