Ya, i'm using browserhax as an entry point for my HBL. And I use HBL to lauch rxtools

Update: Ok, After 20+ hard resets, rxtools finally booted to emunand. Reminds me of using sysupdater to downgrade. Good times. However, boot rate is awful, like 20% success

As far as I know, you really need to be using offset = 0x12000 for rxTools as well...

yeaterday I also had same situations. dont give up and try.
Did you install latest nightly build? mine is latest nightly.

Yes I tried to install the latest nightly build, it didn't happen on the previous version though.. maybe it's because I'm using o3ds.


EDIT: I finally succeed installing it just by putting the keys bin in my sd card root though it's o3ds not n3ds :/

Yes, that's the reason. @AlbertoSONIC needs to merge a pull request to fix it (or you need to roll your own). If I have time, I'll upload a new code.bin that will work much better for you when I get home from work.

It's okay, I manage to install it by putting keys bin in my sd card root. Is it okay to delete those keys now?
Also, I have a question why can't I boot rxTools from HBLauncher in EmuNand? It always shows blank screen.

I'm confused... if you're in emunand already, why are you trying to launch rxTools? If you mean that you cant select rxmode emunand... I'd ask if you can enter emunand with an older build (like from a couple of days ago from the lavanoid link...). Lately, the problem is usually people setting up menuhax before they format emunand. Try holding SELECT when booting into emunand and see what happens...

o3ds users having issues on the latest build, please delete /rxTools/data and replace /rxTools/sys/code.bin with this one. Worked like a champ on my first try!

Successfully installed the latest (nightly) RxTools on my friend's New 3DS and his Emunand is now 10.5!

One question that eludes me still, has anyone figured out a way to Inject FBI Installer into H&S on New 3DS? I get an error unlike o3DS where it dumps a backup & proceeds to replace the app & tmd with the correct app & tmd files...

You can go by system settings to update but just make sure you are on Emunand , should be visible if you see RX-E...

But as always.. Make nand back ups just incase...

Wich Firmware.bin did you use? i get the same error and trying your way gaves me a blackscreen.
I Used the Cakes FW with the MD5 Hash: B99ADF0ADB279712367C06EB83BA9AE6 that you can find on the cakes for everywan pastebin.

Latest nightly doesn't use firmware.bin as name anymore.
You have to download the firmware with the included python script "o3ds_cdn_firm.py" for O3DS/2DS and "n3ds_cdn_firm.py" for N3DS
o3ds_cdn_firm.py will download 3 *.bin files in a firm folder, just copy the firm folder in your rxTools folder, don't rename them
n3ds_cdn_firm.py will download 1 *.bin files in a firm folder, just copy the firm folder in your rxTools folder, don't rename it

How was your stable is your boot rate? I am having trouble booting into rxtools, it either back screens or freezes.

For fbi, don't you just install through rxtools menu and also make sure your fbi files are on root of sd card
