1 Seems to be having a chinese holiday according to an email they sent me. All workers are off until Feb 15th. I asked them for less, but I guess I'll have to wait til the 15th before I can do that.

3 is good if you want to make amiibo cards. Just use sticker printing paper

Quick question, how does amiiqo re-write different bins, are they not using an nfc tag in it?

They use a custom NFC chip IIRC, not a tag.

These plastic pvc cards work great. I made a few amiibos with these already. On the site it says it has 888 bytes but thats an error its actually 540.

1) Download TagM02.1.apk
2) google for 'Use this to Encrypt your custom Amiibo NTag pastebin'
- You will find a *.bin file -> download it
3) Copy tagmo apk and the key bin, as well as the *bin of your desired amiibo onto your sd of the android (e.g in an 'amiibo' folder)
4) Install TagMo on your android device
5) Start TagMo
6) Click the menu and select 'load key file' -> Select the downloaded key bin
7) Click the menu and select 'load tag' -> Select your amiibo bin
8) Click the menu and select 'write tag' -> Follow on screen descriptions
9) Profit

This is actually pretty cool. I already have an Amiiqo and a NaMiiO (which both were free ) that I use for my personally backed up amiibo collection but I'll definitely try this. I just ordered 30 NTAG215 cards for $8.99 + Free shipping.

Also, I think I might have an idea to get this to work on 888 byte NTAG216's.

(This thread is also just another example why Android remains superior to Apple.)

geez..... how many amiibo related things are there?? lol got amiibo's/amiibo cards/amiiqo/namiio. not sure what any of these things are really lol and i still cant understand an amiibo. basically if i buy a game and want a certain character i have to buy the amiibo :/

Not really. Amiibo's just get you bonus content in Read Only games (games that don't modify the save data on an Amiibo like Mario Kart 8)
and allow you to "train" your Amiibo's (in Read/Write games like Super Smash Bros 4)

oh and there are the skylanders that are basically the same...They are actually "buy to have the character ingame" and you level up the character ingame and save on the toy, and use in other games ... these stuff

Wii U and 3DS can write data on amiibo, but they cannot change a Mario into a Link. With NTAG is the same

Amiiqo can store 200 amiibo's on one device. Better for portability when you want to change amiibo's on the fly. It requires the NFC USB Reader/Writer or a NFC Android phone
NaMiiO Is like maxlander. You write the Amiibo data on the NFC tokens but each token can only store one Amiibo. It includes 2 tokens.
Also, the NaMiiO does not need an Android phone like the Amiiqo. All you need is a Windows XP or newer computer.

they work the same as a real amiibo, you can save your stats but you cannot just change the amiibo to another character, once you "flash" the tag with your chosen amiibo its locked to that amiibo then

afaik there isnt really any real forced to buy features in use for amiibo's unlike skylanders/disney infinity/lego dimensions amiibo's only really unlock small features rather than being used to lock entire sections of the game behind the paywall
