Hello. I have a soft bricked android tablet. Factory resets do nothing. My tablet cannot write any data to any storages. I also cant connect to Google's servers. Its pretty much locked. I am writing this on that tablet lol someone help me please.

I don't know what that means. Also, I have no back up of my tablet. I didn't expect this to happen

Wait before give up! Try to check if you are able to enter into fastboot mode. I recovered my z1 several times from hard bricks using this way.

This thread was forgotten. Sorry. It's a LG G pad 7.0 AT&T.

from what ive read it does have fastboot.

if you can search and learn how to enter fast boot and what fast boot is.

we will take it from they.

again. learn how to enter fast boot on your device, every device is different cause of hardware button.

V this is an image of what fastboot should looks like. V

  1. "One of the most common devices that you would always find with a flash'o'holic is a USB Jig. Whether your Samsung mobile phone is bricked or not, this tiny little device always comes in handy while getting the phone into the download mode."

I don't think it has to be a Samsung device.

I don't know what any of that is. BTW, @Flame , Didn't I mention factory restarts do nothing...? It wants to recover my tablet but it won't do anything.

Basically what a jig is, is it's a small device you can make yourself that you plug into the USB slot on the device. When you go to power it on and it detects this jig, it will force itself into download mode where you can flash firmware files and restore your device. They're popular with Samsung users and getting out of hard bricks.

Well, that's not going to happen. I have certain disabilities, I'd probably wind up screwing it up and breaking the tablet and jig mid process. I'll look further into this fastboot thing.

you've done a hard reset? http://www.resettoo.com/lg-g-pad-7-0-hard-reset-procedures

  • Turn the tablet off.
  • Press and hold the Power/Lock Key + Volume Down Key on the right side of the tablet.
  • Release only the Power/Lock Key when the LG logo is displayed and keep pressing the Volume Down Key .
  • Immediately press and hold the Power/Lock Key + Volume Up Key at the same time while maintaining the Volume Down Key pressed.
  • Release all keys when the Factory hard reset screen is displayed.
  • Press the Power/Lock Key to continue or either of the Volume Keys to cancel.
  • Press the Power/Lock Key once more to confirm or either of the Volume Keys to cancel.
  • Your device will perform a hard reset.
