It does not look great and I have to say this is kind of disappointing. Even Wolf Link still looks the same from the early footage without any fur.

The game looks fucking awful. Like, the art style of Twilight Princess was trash to begin with, but the game looks like they put it through a washer with bleach and tried to say it was done.

I mean look at this comparison

The only difference is they fucked with her eyes and made her look... like shes more carved from soap, and you can actually see small details on the horse leather now?

I've never liked Twilight Princess, it was the beginning of the decline of Zelda games in my opinion, but goodness Nintendo, look what you did with the Wind Waker compared to this excuse.

She certainly looked better on the Wii version and I really hope this is still footage that's work in progress than the finalised.

Graphically, there obviously isn't much of a difference. (And to be quite honest, there isn't much of a difference in general.)

I'll be getting the game for the master quest. Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda, but the game was a way too easy. I'm hoping the Master Quest (and Ganondorf amiibo) fix that.

That is no excuse. Sony and Microsoft old-gen games remastered in HD looked fantastic but Nintendo seems to have gotten overly lazy in giving a visually nice looking product.

I agree that simply adding a Master Quest isn't an excuse. Twilight Princess HD is an incredibly lazy remaster.

I'm a huge Twilight Princess fan though, so I'm still getting it. I know by buying it I'm showing Nintendo they'll still get money by being lazy, but I can't help it.

I think its worth getting it just to remove the hassle of booting into vWii each time I want to play it.

I payed $59.99 for the gamecube copy which I've made an ISO backup of an play with USB Loader GX.
See no reason to buy the remake, as it seems the wolf link Amiibo is the only change.

Wait is this Twilight Princess remake gamecube or wii based?.
The Wii version's screen was flipped to make the player right handed, any word if it's fixed?.

Edit: It's GameCube based so the over world isn't flipped, and Link's left handed.
Does this mean no motion controls ?.

Honestly I thought the picture at the right was the HD remake at first. That shows how little it's improved. :(

Twilight Princess was originally intended to be released on the GameCube but Nintendo delayed it to port it over for the Wii so in the end there were two version of the game. The unmirrored one (GameCube) and mirrored (Wii). Now, in terms of profit the Wii version sold far more but that's also due to the GameCube version was produced in limited quantities.

EDIT:

It's rumoured that TPHD will be playable with the Wiimote + Nunchuk but the game itself is based on the original edition of TP (GameCube).

Victor Rosa's texture pack for Dolphin looks 1000x better than this garbage.
If it still looks like this in March, looks like I'll be pirating it.

I wonder why they didn't bring in Hexadrive to rework the graphics again.
