Homebrew [Help]DOSBOX on Retroarch

Anyone get this to run any games yet? I'm trying to play One Must Fall 2097 but it gives me an error. Can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or the emulator just can't run it.

Is there something I need to setup first?

It's pretty hard to help when you don't tell us what the error is, and where it's coming from (DOSBOX, the game, or RetroArch itself).

The emulator works, I have multiple issues though:
-When trying to run One Must Fall it mentions something about how the 3DS doesn't have enough frames to run this
-When I try to install One Must Fall, it mentions how I need a color adapter
-When I try to play other games like Jazz Jackrabbit, it mentions similar things about adapters

Thanks, but I can't seem to find that option, which page is it under?

Start a game. the option is under core options > machine type.

Which SVGA do you use? All mine does is play audio for 5 secs and glitch up. Are you using 3DSX? Or .cia?

Never mind got it working, I stupidly forgot to run the setup.

Update: Now the game goes to a black screen with Jazz doing different poses, then it crashes. I'm pretty sure this is the opening video, except once it over it freezes on a black screen.

i use 3dsx. in the core options play with the cpu cycles, u can speed up the game.
In jazz setup select joystick, low graphic and no color animation.

Can't seem to find low graphic and no color animation in the settings, also SETUP.EXE sometimes moves automatically and setsup no sound.

You can find this option in the game. Run setup.exe on dosbox pc, to adjust the settings. The 3ds dosbox needs a emulated keyboard.

Emulated keyboard? Where can I get that?

I did get Jazz and One Must Fall working, can't get these games full speed or even close, what's the best set up for cpu cycle?

Thanks for your help! I can tell It's still a work in progress but It's great so far! Years ago I have never could have imagined myself playing my favorite DOS games on 3DS

you cant map keyboard keys like alt or ctrl to the 3ds buttons can you?
alot of pc games used them for shooting or bombs.

I seem to have a problem of a different nature. When I open the program on the home menu (installed from cia), I'm stuck on that nintendo 3ds splash screen with the red ripples. Does it sound rectifiable?

Same here, what gives, and why are there no instructions for this, Did the 11.4 update break retroarch's dosbox core?

does retroarch port of dosbox support the config files dosbox.conf?

When is the keyboard getting emulated? It's hard to start games which loads up their setup first.
