Do I have to access the Homebrew Channel while in sysNAND to be able to change the boot screen? Because I'm trying to do it from emuNAND and it says the image does not exist. Also I've done that ColdBoot procedure so even if I try to access the HBC from sysNAND it redirects me to that screen in which you have to pick between RXTools Nightly or HBC before actually going to the latter

In the screen where you pick everything you pick Homebrew than Homebrew for the SysNAND should load. Then start Menuhax and everything should be fine.
(maybe you need to rename the Homebrew boot file to brew and change the file to boot in the text file)

Dark Wood Boot Theme:

I decided with the advent of widespread cfw I would expand my dark wood theme to now cover this as well, I also used a different image in the background that looks woodier. In the future If I get less lazy I may make a home menu theme as well.

And what do you want if you don't press any button on startup?

Yes. My 3DS is doing just that.
So this was meant with pressing no button in Menuhax, okay but the only thing i want to know how to boot direct into rxtools without pressing a or wait in the ctrbootmanager.

So is a Setup like this possible?:
Hold "Nothing" while Power ON = Boot into RxTools
Hold "SELECT BUTTON" while Power ON = Boot into CtrBootManager

Yes.

I made a 3D Custom Main Screen:

lUSpo46.png

  • everything has 3D-Effect (MenuHax, Button-Input, Squares)
  • L & R have free space so you can fill it in - like you want ;)
  • *Note! 3D-Effect on your own Input for L & R :
  1. Insert your Input-Titles on the left side normal
  2. Copy & Paste your Input-Titles from the left side to the right side on the exact same position
  3. On the right side move your Input-Titles slightly to the left (like 2-3px) - by moving both slightly left, the 3DS will display both nearer to your eye (by moving right: both will display further away)
  4. Done!

My Example:

  • L & R Inputs have 3D-Effect

Enjoy :)
Any way you can make a themed ctrbootmanager top and bottom screen images?

Okay but how can i setup 2 Triggers and how can i skip the Boot Menu at the beginning?
timeout = 0; (this will autoboot to your default entry if the recovery key is not pressed)
default = 1; (if you're using the default boot.cfg where rxtools is the second entry, or set this to your entry postion -1)
recovery = 2; (2 = Select, change this to the key you want to boot ctrbootmanager, https://github.com/smealum/ctrulib/blob/master/libctru/include/3ds/services/hid.h)
