Hacking Should I update sysNand?

Might sound like a dumb question, but I'm on sysNand 7.2.0-16E using gateway with emuNand. Is it worth it or dangerous to update my sysNand to 9.0~9.2 in order to use menuhax for launching gateway offline? Am I misunderstanding anything? Fairly new to Gateway

I'm able to launch Gateway offline for a while now using the ds profile exploit, works like a charm. but in order to update to 9.2 you need to find a smash bros cart or another gamecart that has that update on it and do an offline installation from the gamecart.

Yes, I'll look for the retail cartridges if I decide to update.
DS Profile exploit doesn't work since 4.5 if I'm not mistaken so I can't use that ^^'

use the Mset iirc. im on 9.2.

It should. but double check that info. yeah i used the mset 4.5
