You know IOSU = piracy, obfuscation might make the period between release of the exploit and release of a "backup" loader longer but it will be possible and obfuscation is not going to stop it.Yeah FUCK PIRACY!!! I just want to play lame versions of pong, minecraft, and mario clones!!
oooo and maybe some porn games. that would be wonderful. like i could poke the naughty parts with the stylus and they could moan or something all the while ensuring you dont stop shaking a wiimote. it would be wonderful!!!
Maybe some wiimote play as well. Multitasking to help train us hopeless hermits.
I mean who needs piracy when you can live out your dirty fantasies on your wii u gamepad?
HEY! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GETTING THOSE ROMS N SHIT FROM HUH PUNK????dont forget the inferior emulator ports
HEY! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GETTING THOSE ROMS N SHIT FROM HUH PUNK????
yeah the dirty pirate store. you damn swashbucklers. no one appreciates the importance of true non copyright violating homebrew.
In all seriousness I hope he's just saying he's making it hard to enable piracy just to cover his own ass. I mean ideally I would be happy if he trusted some of the dudes working on loadiine. That way he could give them a non obfuscated version and then they could have a loadiine build ready for when the iosu exploit is released. That would be sooooo coool.
(probably doesnt work that way though..)
It most likely does indeed not work that way, but we also know that there will be a warez loader at some point utilising the exploit. The Wii was also hacked with a obfuscated exploit and it had piracy, so...HEY! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GETTING THOSE ROMS N SHIT FROM HUH PUNK????

oooo I didn't know that. The wii was like my introduction to console hacking lol.It most likely does indeed not work that way, but we also know that there will be a warez loader at some point utilising the exploit. The Wii was also hacked with obfuscation of the exploit and it had piracy, so...
I don't know how much team twiizers (aka failoverflow) put into the obfuscation though, and due to the security of the Wii it was most likely easier to enable piracy even though the exploit was obfuscated. So it's not a 100% warez loaders will come somewhat quick cumfirmed kinda deal, but loaders will come at some point.oooo I didn't know that. The wii was like my introduction to console hacking lol.
That's somewhat comforting then :]
There are no static IP's used. People who update either started downloading before setting DNS or set it up incorrectly!Created this account to straighten a few things out. First. the ONLY thing obfuscation does is make it more difficult to decompile or otherwise reverse engineer software. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obfuscation_(software)
Second isn't it possible that Nintendo used a static IP address to an update server instead of using a URL? This would make the need for a DNS unnecessary. This could explain how some people are still getting updated. This and the DNS cache and mii neighborhood thingy.
It doesn't reflect @Pippin666's signature as well as Margen's thoughlol my piracy is right is cooler than yours

I know this is random and off-topic, but I just wanted to say that your signature is awesome. xDActually, some of us like the comfy option of inserting your disc on the drive, installing the game into a external usb drive with a loader, and then getting better loading speeds and less noise while keeping the disc mint.
