You can format your SD, just make sure its FAT32. And for the downgrade checker, please click here
Thanks gonna try those methods then. And I can just put in a new 32gb card right after formatting it to FAT32? Without adding any files etc or copying the files on the 8gb card I have now? (I don't have any game orso installed, just used it to downgrade)

Can this be made to be used to upgrade the system?

I downgraded sysNAND successfully, and now I want to upgrade emuNAND to 10.3 with this, but it only seems to work for downgrade.

You can just use the system settings for emunand. And if you use the OG version of sysupdater you can update, it's called SysUPDATER for a reason.

The thing is, using the system settings on emuNAND now will update to 10.4.

I have the files for the 10.3 update ready.
The thing is, wasn't the original sysupdater risky as in, it deleted the entire firmware before installing the new one?

There was another one made a few days later that made so it would only delete one at a time, and updated the recovery mode first, so that you'd always have at least one of recovery mode or normal mode working.

AFAIK SafeSysUpdater is the exact same thing as that modified sysupdater, except it checks the MD5 of your CIA files so you don't install files that are out of region or for another model of 3DS.

Yes, this brings my issues, but the thing now is apparently that you can use this to downgrade, as it checks the MD5 files for 9.2, which obviously arent the same for 10.3, and since the check fails, I cant install 10.3.

or you can upgrade to 10.4 in emunand since its already confirmed working if on the FWs that supported 10.3

So I am 10.3 n3ds should I downgrade now? If I get a softbrick and I have to update can I still downgrade on 10.4

I downgraded from 10.3 to 9.2 on my N3DS yesterday, the process went fine but I don't find the 3DS very stable. The super-stable 3D doesn't work at all, it just flickers a lot when enabled. Also booting from menuhax into Gateway 3dsx is very hit and miss, sometimes I get black scren, sometimes I'll get gateway logo on top and grey at bottom and sometimes it works fine.

So just curious... would this work if I try it on a 9.9 system? I've had two 3DS' and I don't update either. One already has emunand, but I left the other on 9.9

as long as you already have an entry point (since browserhax gets the update nag) then I Guess it should be fine, someone correct me if I'm wrong

Yeah, I still have my Cubic, thanks for the quick reply, though you sound unsure D:

I tried it from 9.4, and got an error in the middle of downgrading resulting in softbrick. After recovering to 10.3, it worked without a problem, and I did it twice from 10.3 with no problems.

So how would I get to 10.3? Sysupdater or something?

Hello, with this is posible to downgrade a o3ds sysNAND 9.4, right?

I know this support up to 10.3 (and in the pass days came the 10.4.xx.xx) but tomorrow is when i can try to downgrade that 3ds (in the pass weekends i dont have a pc, so tomorrow is the day i Going to
Have a pc to try).

So this sysupdater is fine/good-with no errors or something negative, doing all correctly?

This is better than the other sysupdater 'the original' with the downgrade feature?.

And other thing if i have the update pack i uses on another o3ds to update to the 9.2, that pack work with the downgrade or have to be another pack?
