To change the background music you must change the bgm.bcstr (the file loaded in the 3DS itself) and the bgm.ogg (the preview)

Try deleting the theme file with BBM (HMMP, HMME or HMMJ) (it's the first one down Browser for US / EU / JP)
Choose simple red and blue as shuffle themes.
Then install the package again.

Yes

It is always blanked after creating a theme package.

C:\HowlingTemps\HTT

Thank you so much! :D

send me a screenshot of Howling Theme Tool showing the preview of these themes. Also, list me the files inside each theme folder, please.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Use YATA+ and disable BGM music.
Then delete te bcstm and ogg files from the folder.

Here's the screenshot showing the previews and another showing what every folder has (since all where downloaded from 3dsthem.es) except the ones that don't have music don't have the music files obviously. The Checker tools lists them all as in good condition.
It doesn't affect certain themes specifically, it can be any theme that's last or first in the list.

For some reason, when I install the .cia it excludes the the last two themes of the list (first two if I use the Z-A arrangement).
Why is that?
I'm not complaining since I don't use or change themes a lot but I'd like to know anyways. I'd rather make it not happen instead of wishing making it not happen.

Despite that, it's an excellent application, thanks for your hard work.

Hey i would like to add on that i am having the same exact issue , all of folders are in the correct format and i have the themes listed in A - Z format.I had 21 Themes compiled and when i install them on the 3DS only 19 appear for me the last two themes do not appear.

Also thanks for your hard work this is an excellent tool nonetheless! but i figured we should bring this to your attention

Great tool, tried on 10.3 Eur.
But like others, I did not know that installing a package was writing over CIA official themes that I bought.
Are there any way to make a backup for integrate them into Howling Theme Tool, and after made a Pack CIA?

Thanks! ^^

Does this work on Gateway mode? Somehow I cannot install any CIA created by this tool when I am in Gateway mode...

Guys I'm having a problem. I created a cia out of custom themes and installed it, but afterards I made an updated version with more themes, but when I install them, these new themes are simply not appearing. I reverted to the classic black theme before installing just in case but I had no luck.

Did you uninstalled the pack of themes that you were using before? I had to do that in order to change/add some themes.

No one have an idea of how can I backup my official themes?

Does the themes interfere with HomeMenuHax? Would I have to reinstall it? Thanks in advance

EDIT: I want to use them on emuNAND

Unless you have linked NANDS the answer is no, 'cause the payloads in themedata for ThemeHax/ShuffleHax are located on SysNAND.
