What version of rxtools used you? Thanks! Now the rxtools boot fine in my n3ds. (Sometimes the menuhax freeze, but is the menuhax problem)
But, the background color is horrendous![]()
i dont know why recently my menuhax always got white screen. like 3 out of 4 times. and it is always white, not the yellow(i saw most ppl got yellow on internet)What version of rxtools used you?
Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks this helped.I found (and maybe some other person but i never saw it anywhere) how to launch rxTools 3.0 Alpha 0 (rxTools.dat) in CtrBootManager
just change in boot.cfg from
toCode:{ title = "rxTools"; path = "/rxTools/sys/code.bin"; offset = "0x12000"; },
Code:{ title = "rxTools"; path = "/rxTools.dat"; offset = "0x20000"; },
EDIT: I don't think it's possible to do it for 2.6, the rxTools.dat seems to be encrypted

Press SELECT when you turn your 3DS on, you can switch the button to L if you want on the "More..." -> "Recovery key:".Any way I can get this to boot into homebrew launcher (boot_hb.3dsx) when I hold L on boot? I have sysNAND set to R and emuNAND on timeout = 0 so it would be nice.
Neat, thank you.Press SELECT when you turn your 3DS on, you can switch the button to L if you want on the "More..." -> "Recovery key:".
Delete the boot.cfg file.I screwed something up with CTR boot manager and I always see this message now:
Configuration file not found: /boot.boot.cfg
Creating Default configuration
Press any key to continue...
(Pressing any button does nothing)
So I deleted both menuhax's payload and browserhax's payload, changed the theme on sysnand, booted browserhax and reinstalled menuhax as type 1.
I try it out and I still get this error. I know for a fact that I have boot.cfg on the root. Here's how mine looks: http://prntscr.com/9puolx
It's literally on the root! I don't know what to do anymore.
Edit: So I hold L to boot sysnand, I boot up browserhax and it brings me to that same error screen.
I have my payload edited to load bctr.3dsx for boot manager, and boot.3dsx for browserhax.
Edit2: Gonna see if I somehow mixed up the .3dsx files
Edit3: Nope they're setup right. WHY the heck is browserhax booting into ctr boot manager?!
Edit4: Using the original unedited payload for menuhax, and default directories within the boot.cfg file still results in this error screen upon booting ctr boot manager. I'm stuck.
So something is wrong with the boot.cfg file, even though the contents in it are the same as it ever was? Are you saying that I should LET it create the boot.cfg file and keep mine away until after? I'll give that a tryDelete the boot.cfg file.
One friend and I tried that and it managed to boot into the Recovery menu automatically.
Yep exactly. So something is wrong with the boot.cfg file, even though the contents in it are the same as it ever was? Are you saying that I should LET it create the boot.cfg file and keep mine away until after? I'll give that a try
Thanks, I thought I'd never find the solution. I was never going to sacrifice my boot.cfg file.Yep exactly.
Force it to create the boot.cfg
Doesn't matter if it doesn't boot you directly into what you had before, as long as you enter the main CTR menu you're good to go.
Once it creates such file, simply put back the Paths of the apps you had in there, do not modify anything else.
LOOOOOOOOOLThanks, I thought I'd never find the solution. I was never going to sacrifice my boot.cfg file.
It created the boot.cfg file and Im just gonna copy, paste each individual entry from the old one to the new.
Are there common causes of this problem? I was using ftpbrony and was trying to copy, replace the boot.cfg file. But I guess since menuhax was running, it screwed it up. I gotta stop being lazy and go to my computer instead.
Edit: How come the freshly created one has a power off option all of a sudden, it's so useful!
Edit2: It hates my text, copying and pasting from the original txt file results in the same error as before. I wonder if the Reinand info I JUST added messed it up
BIG EDIT: I typed offset - instead of offset =
And that was the cause of all of this LMAO
It's all good now
