I could easily release it today, but given it's instability, I don't want to open up that can of worms on this forum. Since late December, I've had the intention of rewriting the exploit to improve its stability. My hope is to do that before release, but if people care that much, I can release the unstable one in the meantime. Just don't come bitching to me about it.
I don't give a damn, release and I won't open up my mouth about it's instability[emoji7] [emoji7]

I'm not sure if this is the right topic, but I'll post here anyway. Anybody using home automation systems thought about WiiU homebrew that could control HA system (something like HABDroid for OpenHAB)? OpenHAB uses rest API, so it would be pretty easy thing to implement, but I was wondering if we could utilize TV button of the Gamepad, so, instead of TV remote, we get access to some overlay with HA control?

Woo, Wii U hacks, woo!

No, but seriously, @Marionumber1:
Open-sourcing it may or may not be a good idea.
I believe there are some people out there that want to help on the stability or overall progress as well.
Is it safe to say that the exploit will not work in 5.5.1 anymore?
Then there's no real reason anymore to keep it private - except for the stability part.
But then again, you can fix the stability on it after making it open-source as well.

Just my ideas about it :)

Looking forward to the actual releases of the IOSU exploit!

I'd love to see a release of the unstable exploit. Given that I'm on 5.4. I couldn't play online quite a time now. If you released the exploit I only Need to get it working at least once and spoof, afterwards I could finally play online again ;) Would be great, but of course it is up to you! Thanks for your hard work!

Is the stagefright vulnerability implementation, as it is currently, integrated into libwiiu (given it's different nature from earlier vulnerabilities)?

If it is, I would plead for a silent release (i.e. push to github), so people interested can finally test their stuff (debugging on a stranger's console is painful, really), while work on a better implementation can progress, either in private or publicly in case there are knowledgeable people willing to help. That and maybe a sticky post here should hopefully prevent most arising questions.
