Improved the downgrade process again! This should be really safe now. But still: Use it at your own risk! Good luck! :)
0.2b Downgrading to 9.2.0

0.2b.0 I do NOT guarantee that this works. Continue at your own risk. Follow these steps very precisely and focused. Most important: Stay calm. Almost 100% of all downgrade bricks are made by stupid mistakes. If you just follow these steps exactly, you will most likely (according to reports) not run into any serious issue; I cannot guarantee anything though. :)
0.2b.1 Update your system to 10.3.0 using the system settings.
0.2b.2 Format your system using the system settings. (You will lose apps, DLCs, games and everything, but according to all reports, you will be able to regain them after the download process by relinking your NNID afterwards.) This is optional, but it increases the success rate by a lot.
0.2b.3 Turn off your 3DS and remove the (micro)SD card.
0.2b.4 Get the 3DS CFW Kit, MiniTool Partition Wizard , TeraCopy , as well as several files you will get from the "Downgrade Files" link at the usual place, then check the MD5 hash of the 9.2.0-20X(Full) ZIP file via this site.
0.2b.5 Put your (micro)SD card into your computer and make a backup of its content.
0.2b.6 Delete everything on your (micro)SD card, then install and launch Minitool Partition Wizard.
0.2b.7 Right-click on your (micro)SD and select "Wipe" to delete the partition(s) on your (micro)SD.
0.2b.8 Right-click on "Unallocated" in your (micro)SD card and select "Create" to create a new partition.
0.2b.9 Select "Primary" where you see "Logical", and then set "Format" to "FAT32".
0.2b.10 In the top-left, click on "Apply" to finish.
0.2b.11 Close the Partition Wizard, then install and launch TeraCopy.
02b.12 Use TeraCopy to copy the updates folder you have extracted from the 9.2.0-20X(Full) ZIP file onto your (micro)SD, as well as the boot.3dsx from the 3DS CFW Kit (which is the same as the one you can find in smealum's starter kit) and the 3ds folder you have made according to the instructions on the place where you got all the files. (I think you just need to copy the files normally and TeraCopy will automatically become active.)
0.2b.13 Put your (micro)SD card back into your 3DS, follow the instructions on screen, then change the theme, then change it back to default.
0.2b.14 Launch browserhax (See the instructions around the QR code below).
0.2b.15 Once in the Homebrew Launcher, select menuhax_manager, then choose "Install".
0.2b.16 Exit the menuhax_manager, then turn off your system without exiting the HBL, then turn it back on and delete the internet connection settings. Go back to the home menu and turn off your system.
0.2b.17 Move the sysUpdater.3dsx you are able to find in /3ds/sysUpdater to the root of your SD card (besides the boot.3dsx, so to say), delete boot.3dsx and rename sysUpdater.3dsx to boot.3dsx
0.2b.18 So far so good! You will need to repeat this process until sysUpdater loads correctly. Turn on your 3DS and hold [L] to launch sysUpdater, then select Downgrade by pressing (Y), and after you did that, DO NOTHING ANYMORE. If it succeeds, congratulations, you are on 9.2.0 now! :)
Thx to @Dribblejam and @shadowofdarkness

anyone having this problems ?

Think there is a way to keep the Mii Plaza Saves and stuff by making a NANDBackup through Gateway and follow these tutorial : https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-manual-system-transfer-for-saves-content.388033/
But I don't tried it, because I just forgot to make a NandBackup before downgrading... feel a little bit failing ! But if I'm true to my self... doesn't used the stuff for months, so not a big deal.

Now how exactly do you expect to make a NAND backup with gateway on a non-exploitable above 9.2 firmware hmmmm?

idk man. All i know is that the latest update only works on firmware 9.3 and up.
you need versions of the game and updates with cryptofix (if needed) and firmware spoof. Most games work fine under these conditions. i.e. triforce heroes.

Just wanted to chime in, successfully downgraded my o3ds using this and after about 10~15 tries it went through. Most busted tries were freezes and there were a couple of "can't parse CIA info" ones. All looks well, it apparently wasn't incomplete or anything like that.

Got it!
You have to delete system.bin in the cardridges save-game folder using svdt.
Starts on 9.2 now without any error and runs great.
The other file within this folder is your game save. Make sure to keep that ;-)

I recommend to make a backup of both files before deleting anything.

Best regards

You are right, was my fault. Was late yesterday and cause, I have several Consoles, just got a brain parsing error after all the downgrading :D

Did you startet the eshop before, up to the point where it creates some data do the SD Card ?
Did you used the sysUpdater from page 95 here ?
Did you started and closed ftBrony before starting sysUpdater?

Is it safe to try to downgrade now? or the update to 10.3 in case of soft bricks may be disabled soon?

what the fuck is this shit?

i finally got the DG to work, i got rx tools setup , i got emunand working and autobooting , but now i can't get my emunand updated to 9.5 (N3ds) because sysupdater is unstable crap and only boots 1 out of 10 tries and then throws cant get cia info 148 error every time i finally do get it to boot
but this shit is even worse that the other build i was using, all i get is this

arm11 kernel exploit
#1
#2
#3
#4
#5

or all the way to
#8 grant access to all services and svcs...

but nothng beyond that,

so what is there an actual working build of sysupdater that does not crash everything and black screen 9 out of 10 times, that will be able to actually work at all?
or another way to update emunand to 9.5
because this systemupdater is totally worthless
