Whats different with this one?

There is also Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer EU available as legit CIA.
Someone downgraded his Bundle 3DS and dumped it.
But you have to update it via eShop to get it to work.
For an up-to-date thread with all legit CIAs google (with quotation marks):
"[MEGA] Collection of all 100% Legit/legal/Perfect CIA (All regions)".

Found out the Special Edition contains all 10 DLC packs.

yes. You should only update through emunand though and downgrade your sysnand.

Yes as those are just installers. Same with game CIAs

I'm not sure I do, I do not want to have a nice Brick.

The O3DS is the old 3DS.

not really surprised, I have a bunch of friends who'd rather not bother with downgrading at all and just play with their existing carts.

So I finally got around to trying to start FBI and I get some info (system type, etc.) but when I try to press a button I get no response. using Ironhax, going to try oothax.

Well i managed to install CIA's after days of trying on a N3DS and N3DS XL
So i tought i'll let you know, just in case!

Now it only takes 1 to 4 tries to get a working FBI booting
- Boot through MenuHax v2.1 (Holding L)
- This boots into ctrbootmanager
- Go to "More" -> "File Browser" -> "\3ds\FBI\FBI.3dsx" -> add to boot menu (no need for homebrew Launcher anymore)
- Turn off system
- Turn back on and boot with MenuHax into ctrbootmanager
- Run FBI (No button mashing or button holding needed)
- Now everytime i boot MenuHax i can choose FBI in the ctrbootmanager menu and it workes 1 out of 4 tries

Note:
thanks to @Naked_Snake for posting his method, i just tried, but that didn't work, so i tought why not ad the FBI.3dsx straight to ctrbootmanager, that worked out just fine for me

With the KTM release more people will probably take the plunge and downgrade.
