So I have a MM N3DS XL which I have successfully installed rx tools and running emunand 9.0 with coldboot but the 3d feature seems to be very broken. Its like am getting 2 different images out of sync both in menus and in games.

This doesn't happen when I boot into my sysnand though, everything works fine so am guessing the console ain't broken right?

Anyone also having this on emunand? Ideas?

Once you're in emuNAND, close the lid and open it again. Now it should work.
That's a problem with GW too, not only rxTools. I don't know about others though.

The problem seems to be related to the "Super stable 3D" that the N3DS has.

Whenever I boot PastaCFW I get the same issue until I close the lid and open it again too, but this doesn't happen with the Old 3DS' I have.

Out of curiosity, anyone able to give a picture of what it looks like when that problem happens?
I don't think I've ever gotten that problem with rxtools 3.0 nightly 9/28

It's like going slightly cross eyed when looking at one of those Magic Eye pictures, before the 3D clicks in. Seeing two pictures at once.

Ah ok, well still interested in seeing what it looks like :P
I don't think it is possible to take a picture, as the images are being beamed to different locations (so you see one per eye), but a camera has only one lens, not two, so it will only get one of the pictures.

Sorry for potato quality but here is what it looks like. Basically, no 3D at all, nothing directional, both eyes see two images.

It's just that you do not get a 3d effect but you get two pictures that are offset by a bit. Basically that's how 3d works anyway but it doesn't get rendered into one image until you close and open the lid again

welp i just reinstalled emunand due to this and now i have to reinstall every cia file...
didn't know about closing once 3ds...

daaaamn.

For some reason the 3D on my N3DS still seems inferior to my O3DS, when the 3D slider is all the way up there's just so much ghosting that it really becomes unbearable to look at it.

Which game is it, btw? xP
Lol, that's Fantasy Life. I chose that one for the photo because all objects are quite far from the camera (so you can see the effect very well), colors are well contrasted (it's not all dark) and, well, I have that game -.-

Oh, okay, thanks for letting me know..
Btw, is it that good? I am planning to "get" it! xP
And, sorry for going off topic.

Well, the game itself is good. Its only problem is that every piece of dialog has more lines than a tutorial to set up rxTools on autoboot on a 10.3 3DS. So you enjoy the gameplay, playing with friends and all but you spend more time skipping dialogs than doing all of that.
