For those who haven't been able to get FBI to get past the exploit, try this tutorial out. It has a higher rate of getting the exploit to work. Just apply the tutorial with the FBI.3dsx file instead.

would this work with a eur cia file? Like can you delete and download the usa version from the eshop if you own the eur cia?

I stated that when I realized it may be possible. It doesn't work for higher success for legit CIAs, but it does speed up the process.

They should since sysUpdater only touches the system and not you games and saves. They stayed for me at least when I downgraded.

wow, in less than 10 tries I got my method to work on my other system, interestingly the lag was very high like JustAKirby's experience, but once I was able to select the cia, it's smooth installing from there

Is bricking your 3DS worth not waiting a week? Obviously that's the worst case scenario but these tools are a work in progress.

Everytime the app said "DONE" => "freeze"

The success rate varies I think. I have one installation where it only took 2 restarts, and one took me basically an all-nighter.

Nope, never heard of anyone to brick his/her 3DS installing a legit CIA.
Also, for the people who are freezing at ''Done'', try Kevin's method (Make sure you have a game card in your 3DS):
1)Access Homebrew launcher through Menuhax
2)Access ftBrony and quit with B.
3)Go to FBI and quickly eject your game card and spam A. You should be taken to the menu where you can install your CIA.
This works for me, I can easily install legit CIAs now.

All Games are working fine!

I have tried all these things and I'm still stuck on "Done!". If I spam A while launching, skips a screen ending with "Cleaning up.." takes me to main menu, but cant install anything(keep getting errors) :\

Try the card-ejecting method.
