So after full bricking my O3DS ON 10.3U i decided to give it another go on my N3DS on 10.1U and this time i succeed to downgrade on my 1st try. I used julian20 sysupdater on page 95 on this thread and i used ninjahax to start homebrew then i installed homemunehax. Then i rebooted holding L to boot into homemenuhax i then open ftp pony and pressed B to closed it the lauched sysupdater and click Y to downgrade. After about 2min it finish and rebooted to a black screen all i did was remove sd card and rebooted to 9.2
1.Used julians20 sysupdater (https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...ngrading-your-3ds.407888/page-95#post-5923820)
2.Used CIA's for N3DS US 9.2.0-20U Full
2.Launched Ninjahax
3.Installed homemenuhax
4.Rebooted Holding L to launch homemenuhax
5.Open ftp pony then pressed B to go out
6.Launched sysupdater and pressed Y to downgrade (AFTER about 2-3 min it rebooted to black screen)
7.Removed sd card and rebooted system to 9.2U
Alright, I'm biting the bullet and downgrading. Specs:
10.3 US N3DSXL (MM version).
Wifi set up without Tubehax
Menuhax uninstalled
Using browserhax entry point.
The 9.2 U N3DS files from the iso site (I posted the specifics earlier)
Cleaned using blue harvest
Took a few times to enter/start the downgrade, I exited out of FTBrony with the hard close (l/r/down/b).
It's now downgrading and working smoothly. Just hit the rebooting in 10 seconds part.
Edit: Shit. Rebooted to "An error has occurred. Hold down the power button to turn off power." Help? Did I soft brick?
soft brick. use recovery mode to update to 10.3
and then I suggest waiting until a more stable downgrade appears... or you can try formatting your 3DS and trying again
Alright. I'm one of the unlucky few I guess? Scared me half to death when I saw that error. I knew it was a soft brick, since a hard brick wouldn't even display errors.
Not gonna format my 3DS, I have stuff on there I want to keep. I'm updating back up to 10.3 now.
For the others who got a similar result, what ended up happening? Are they all sitting at 10.3? Did they successfully downgrade?
Same things happen with me also. Still sitting on 10.3 trying to figure out why a format makes a difference.Alright. I'm one of the unlucky few I guess? Scared me half to death when I saw that error. I knew it was a soft brick, since a hard brick wouldn't even display errors.

I formated both the console and microsd and then followed these directions and it worked first try, yeah I lost all my eshop stuff, but with the eshop spoof on gateway or cfw I should be able to get it back, and my nnid is still linked to the console.Alright.
