Homebrew How to install legit CIA files 9.3-10.3

Now somebody who installed a legit CIA on 10.3 should try the next thing
(Why 10.3, cause you need eShop access)

Go to eShop and try to download the legit cia you installed (should say redownload/downloaded, don't do it!)
Go back to Home menu and remove the installed game (System settings/Memory management//Nintendo 3DS/Software, Select the legit cia you installed and delete it)
Go back to eShop and redownload the game you just removed

Report back here!

Probably doesn't work. You never got the license to download the game in the first place, and if it did, it would be widely known because people could install legit cia's below 9.2 for ages. I guess there it doesn't hurt to try, if you wanted to.

tried 10-13 times now.

most of the time it doesn't go to "Done."
3 times got "Done." but hungs up after that (where i need to press A supposedly)

I've done it, it's possible. Tried weeks ago.
But the ticket is lost if you do a system format and the only way to get the game again is to re-install from a legit .cia again

I have done it too, but in the end when if you system transfer, those cia will not work for some reason , a guy here made a all posible combination and all were a fail in the end.

Ok just tried with Ironhax and got it to work the trick is to press A alot when starting the program havent installed anything crappy download speed will post later with results.

basically the steps are

1. install fbi on the page 1
2. boot into it (might need to try few times)
3. install the legit cia you want (also might need to try few times)
4. reboot into menu and voila! you're set!

I think it will work, cause on 9.2, when nnid linked to the console, you could redownload them after removing them, that's why they are called legit, there not 100% legit, but legit enough to be installed on any system and be working in sysnand.

The only time it will work is if the debug text completes successfully and says "Done." at the end.
Even then, it isn't guaranteed, because it may still hang at that point. If you press a button then and it loads FBI, you're good to go. If it doesn't do anything, you have to try again.

If it hangs at any point prior to that during the debug text and pressing a button loads FBI, then you will get an error and it won't let you install anything.

Edit: I'm on 10.3 O3DS, the CIA is Fire Emblem Awakening.

It works but you have to launch it from regionThree or Hans everytime.

I booted from MenuHax about 40 times and never got a 'done'. I finally got that far with IronHax.

Relaunch FBI, this means the exploit failed to load.
