We don't really know. Myria pointed out that it could be because FIRM0/FIRM1 aren't downgraded.

I see. Needs more investigation.
So, what about spiderhax? Does it works aftewards?
In my case, I can afford a NAND restore to 4.2 using spiderhax, and do the happy way of updating from previous firmware.

....It's not stealing if it's open sourced on github. :wtf: All the work is still credited and it was merely forked and worked on. No one stole anything. It's literally just a new piece of software people were impatient before finding all the bugs.
ah. okay fair enough : )

back to my original question.

Does OOT/ironhax work? = to force rxtools/emunand on NEW3DS?

No, there isn't any entrypoint enabling access to CFW. It's a downgrading issue. Don't blame us for that. The downgrading tool you used wasn't made by anyone in the team.

welp so this is a half assed quickly done attempt at this then.

nothing to see here guys xD

So, are you guys looking into that issue, and will we be able to have CFW on our downgraded 3DS? :)

Where was this, and is there any way to prove they were truly on 10.3.0-28 firmware? We didn't really see it in the video besides a system update attempt within their CFW menu and the SysNAND firmware stated inside of the launcher menu.
A system update doesn't update to the next number if that makes sense. If I'm on 9.2, its going to update to 10.3, not any other firmware. It has to be 10.3
