but, I dont get it.... If this is yet a work in progress, why are people talking about roms, cias and emunand? Wasn't that only supposed to work on 9.2, which is only obtained with the entire hacking package?

because people don't actually care about the development. They care about stealing games lol.

this is with any scene.

There will always be the small percentage that do care though.

Also:

Until Steve/Julian/ etc make a post on this site or that iso site. it's same to assume its NOT out

http://yls8.mtheall.com/ninupdates/reports.php
Has a list of added and changed titles by updates

Exactly, I downloaded the CSV files from both 9.2 and 10.3, and did used a reverse compare using this tool
http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-...lete-after-region-change.383796/#post-5438148

It reported all titles that did not existed in 9.2 but exists in 10.3.
Maybe we need do this for all versions, because things get added/removed from version to version, and 9.3 to 10.3 is a big range of possibilities.

Question!

Will this eventually lead to a unbricker? Possibly because of downgrading we can go to any firmware we want right ? Not just 9.2

What about using it to go to 1.0 firmware then digging around in said firmware?

A unbricker would be helpful for testers and developers.
Anyone? lol

I never used any cards besides my gw's, so I was never really concerned about it. To be honest I didn't know a new tool was developed. I've been using the same emunand I formated when 9.2 came out. But I do agree, opensource is better.
https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-emunand9tool-open-source-emunand-formatter-manager.405921/ + https://gbatemp.net/threads/download-decrypt9-open-source-decryption-tools-wip.388831/

those 2 tools do 99% of what the GW launcher does and more. The few things you can't do are; downgrade and backup saves from carts. You can use other tools to do those couple of things.

If you put it that way, most CFW's patch AGB_FIRM which does allow unsigned CIA's. They can do much more though (like patching more checks!)
It can be. EMUNAND is a way to patch out the signatures for legit cias. (install any cias)
you two have NO CLUE what you're talking about... yes (most) CFW allows installation of unsigned CIAs, emuNAND is an emulated version of the 3ds's interal storage. Currently ONLY ONE CFW patches AGB_FIRM but all that does is let you play GBA games :P Get your facts straight

Stupid question but are there games which probably won't work after a downgrade from 10.1 to 9.2 anymore? Any libraries that were added in 10.1?
Also, will it wipe the console?

A quick check showed no new titleids were added passed 9.9.0. :)

No 3ds support = useless. Cia is a shit, good for VC or small eshop games.
Bitch please
