It's nothing fancy, just a generic notifier script written in 100% bash :P What do I mean by that? It only uses builtin binaries like curl, sed, grep, tr, and xargs :teach:

Note: I don't want to take others' ideas, I saw @gudenaurock working on a GBATemp notifier too, but seeing its style I think it's Windows-only, so I made something similar for Linux systems :D

Also, happy christmas!

Interesting
Personally I always have a GBAtemp tab up so if I get a notification, I see it right away anyway. But this could be good for people who really want to keep track of their notifications and won't be keeping their internet browser up very often.

Or for people like me who are fucking autistic and don't notice the small notification box in the page itself or the icon in the userbar or the tab icon changing

i know it's not just me

The program 'curl' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install curl

Uh huh. "Built in".
The others are also not bulit-in bash functions.

These binaries are built-in for me :P But yeah, you are right too, now every distro has these binaries preinstalled. What should I change the title to then? The title is perfectly accurate for my setup.

The script should check for the needed programs, and tell the user to install them if they don't have it. Better yet, package the script and add them as dependencies.

I use ubuntu, which does not come with curl.
