If was iosu 5.5.0 would be to release Kernel Exploit and other exploits too, they need more time to everything work.
IOSU exploit from Naehrwert that would work up to 5.2.0 but them maybe made it work on 5.3.2 too.

bottom line: if there's an update, don't update, stay there. put your wii u to rest for 3000 years, until something is released (which will happen on christmas this year). updating for online features is retarded unless you have another console (which is resting for 3000 years and is a launch model)

If you want Cafiine to be able to load custom code, you're better off rewriting it to be more like Riivolution and have an XML to just patch certain parts of the code in memory, from my various poking it's in the 0x0E and 0x105 range for code and data/strings. Would make several of my hax easier since I can have both Octohax as a patch and custom music. I'm surprised nobody besides me has tried to get TCPGecko and Cafiine running at the same time.

Im not to desperate for iosu either i mean 5.3.2 can do everything iosu can do besides usb, i dont mind using an sd card instead of an usb hdd, people want iosu for what exactly? sure you can use usb but besides thats preety much everything you want to acomplish with iosu is already possible, iosu wont make homebrew start since homebrew has been possible ever since kernel was released and no one bothered to even write an atary 2600 emulator let alone something harder.

I honestly didn't see any signs of desperation, but you're entitled to your opinion .
In the realistic side of things, zecoxao is one of those who's in direct contact with hykem involved in IOSU research, so if an estimate would be given for the appearance of IOSU exploit, I would reasonably take his over yours.
