Does rxtools 2.6 suppost new firmware update on emuNAND?
I would like to update emuNAND but I fear if it doesn't work

2.6 works well with latest emunand

It stays on the 3DS booting screen.
Doesn't rxTools latest nightly have firmlaunch enabled for N3DS?
I think that might be the problem.

Also I tried looking for a firmspoofed CIA but no luck there either.

i will test it later, on my og though,

since you are using it on your n3ds , can you tell me how it usually runs ? i am abit afraid to use it :/ as i have GW emuNAND pretty stable using my RedGwcard , but still woult look into RxTools for my n3ds as well as it easy less hassly booting it up xD

but can you tell me how stable it actually is ? i get lot of errors whilst putting my og3ds into sleep mode when i am in Rx emuNAND, i am wondering if you get these kind of issues on your n3ds using RX.

The version I'm using it's great. Boot is almost 100%, Pasta mode works well too. I don't have the sleep issue at all..so idk about that. I cold boot using ctrbootmanager to emunand and done.

And don't do this in rxmode or you will brick for real. Devmode or Pasta will work fine though.

I didn't use sysupdater to update emuNAND.
I downloaded Paddington - Adventures in London (Usa) as a 3DS ROM and booted it up with Gateway mode while pressing UP in the D-Pad after entering DS Profile.

That way, when I boot the game, I get an update prompt for 9.5.0-20U.
Just updated emuNAND using this method and rxTools booted fine into emuNAND.

However, this does NOT fix the issue of Triforce Heroes not booting up.
I am still geting the eternal 3DS Logo screen.

My recommendation would be for you to get the .3ds version for your region and use simple CIA converter to fw spoof the rom to CIA and done. It's how I did mine.

Well I do have the .3DZ ROM for online, do I need to simply rename it to .3DS and convert it with CIA Converter?

It does both formats, but it's pretty easy to find the other version just in case. 3DS Simple CIA Converter v4.3 is the one I use.

Thanks. I already downloaded that app and I'm now generating my xorpads.

Also, on a side note, for those wondering about the new December 5th nightly, I am running it just fine, but we still don't have Firm Launch nor DS Flashcard or DSiWare support on emuNAND.

Either I have the worse luck or my 3ds just doesn't want to be on 9.2. I've tried everything from downgrading my o3ds, to cartage updating, and every different way to inject / load sysupdater Nothing is working. Im back on 4.2 because I downgraded my o3ds in hopes that would help me inject sysupdate to sysnand still nothing. I don't see any other ways or anyone else really having this problem. So please any help or tut would be amazing. I just want my 3ds on 9.0 T_T

Quick question, did anyone ever get nand backups working again with rxTools?

I seem to remember several weeks back people were being directed to use the GW menu to dump the nand since the rxTools one did not work right. Unfortunately I am working with someone atm who is unable to access the GW menu at all. Somehow or another he ended up with the latest browser version installed on his 7.2.0-10E O3DS (installed browser is 1.7616), so he is unable to use browserhax anymore and it seems to have broken ninjhax as well (at least the 1.x version). Unfortunately afaik gateway is still using the original ninjhax to launch its menu so he is completely unable to access it.

Was going to have him use a game to update to 9.0.0 and then use ninjhax 2.0 to launch minipasta and then fbi to install sysupdater and then install the right browser for -10X, but this seems like something someone should make a nand backup before doing and i only know of two ways to make a nand backup. RxTools and Gateway.

i use rxtools with my og3ds and i can even play Japan region games, so i dont know why Zelda MM wouldn't work. give it a try

I did, it closes with an error message after about a second, whereas it works perfectly with GW.

Also have found a reproducible crash, if I have the bottom screen on the smaller icon grid and then move across to the first icon space of the next page, the whole system freezes and needs a hard reset. Not sure where to report though, there's no where on the nightly page to do so.

i will try it now, i think i have the u.s version tho. but it might not matter, as i am in rx nand.

Edit: it sends me back to my emuNAND with the following error : An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart.

o_o wow ! i have issues with only 2 of the games i have installed so far no biggie..

as i am to lazy to swap my gw card in and out , i still love Rx xD and having both GW and Rx nands possible to run is cool. (Though no more mset for my GW card.. as i updated my ds to 9.0 for menuhax >_<, will have to use the browser for GWemuN. i guess))

Except launching Friend Code and SpotPass on 10.X emuNAND.
Only nightlies don't freeze on launching them on 10.X emuNAND.
