Exactly how are you launching FBI? From rxmode using FBI already installed on the home screen? Or from the Homebrew Launcher? If from the HBL, how exactly are you launching HBL? Cubic Ninja? BootCTR or ctrbootmanager? rxmode first then HBL, or...?

With Homebrew Launcher on Cubic Ninja.

If your 3DS's browser is working, use Broserhax, minipasta and FBI to downgrade MSET.

Hi,

I installed CakesFW and the fbi.cia, then launched cakesfw and started the installed FBI, switched to NAND and tried to downgrade my mset (for usage of Gateway card) and it says: DESCRIPTION_INVALID_TITLE_VERSION
Also says it with another .cia called bigbluemenufix.cia (is also required for gateway)

EDIT: Worked with Devmenu without a problem ...

Is there any specific ninjhax version of FBI? Had a tutorial for rxtools installation point me here, saying ninjhax version of FBI, but I don't see any difference here to the normal version.

It's included in the zip, the ninjhax version is simply .3dsx already included in the zip

Oh Okay thanks. Boy I should really stop trying to understand every step before trying it out on the fly, I believe most things will get clear during the process. My 9.0 n3ds arrives tomorrow and I wanted to read into the matter beforehand.

I can't install Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate using FBI. It's a legit CIA and all other games worked great. Only when i try to install MH4U i get the message:

"Install failed!

Level: LEVEL_PERMANENT (0x1b)
Summary: SUMMARY_INVALID_ARGUMENT (0x7)

Yes, it's the same error I get. I'll try DevMenu then


PS: Tried to install MHX on DevMenu and it gave the same error. I'll try MH4U now

I updated rxTools (the rxtools files, not my emuNAND) and the FBI CIA doesn't work anymore. :/

@Steveice10 With am:InitializeTitleDatabase having been found and documented, thoughts on adding an error handler for the error that happens when the title.db/import.db files are missing that calls am:InitializeTitleDatabase and retries before erroring out?

Should be taken care of now with 1.4.16, along with a few minor tweaks.
