I have Mario Kart 7 bought from the eshop and updated to the last version in 9.2.0-20E and the last version of HANS/starter kit but when I launch HANS it only shows the Nintendo Video app (wich not work) . If I put a cartridge then the game shows (Nintendo Video dissapear).
Mm writing now about it it seems like Nintendo Video shows when I have the gateway cartridge in my 3DS. But i dont know why i cant see mario Kart 7.
Edit: I just discovered that you can use the right/left arrows in the pad to change the app. But Mario Kart 7 doesn't show neither.
Edit 2: Sorry, just a confusion. I was using it in a test SD WITHOUT Mario Kart 7 installed xD

Resident Evil: Revelations (USA) works. I'm on Old 10.3.0-28U.

Have a Jill:

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (USA) (Virtual Console) works.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (USA) (Virtual Console) works.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (USA) (Virtual Console) works.

For some reason I'm getting a red screen on HANS while trying to launch it with Pokémon Super Mystery DUngeon selected. And I mean when launching the app, not when launching the game through HANS.

As far as I know Super Mario 3D Land never worked. I wish I could test it out.
idk, I tried it earlier and it seemed to be working fine.
10.3.0-28U, digital version (well, a legit .cia in emunand, but there shouldn't be any differences from an actual digital one from the eShop.)

Well, SM3DL works perfectly for me (retail cart).

If you do, please don't copy directly from the main post. It's not at date. Also, it's said thar KH3D does not work, but it says it does. Even smea say it doesn't xD
Don't worry Im not also some games work on some hax but don't work on other hax like SM3DL works with menuhax but not Ironhax.

The Binding Of Isaac Rebirth won't even launch. Through Hans. However Shovel Knight is fine.

There goes my romhack unless someone happens to know of a fix

I don't know if it was already stated, but Monster Hunter X doesn't work with Hans.

It just doesn't load.

And there it goes my hopes of playing this with an english patch, although even the CPP wasn't even working to begin with

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
