here I don't know if anyone needs it, but I managed to merge all the recent changes into a fork I still had and get the latest version. I will put this on the updater and not let it ping GitHub until this issue is solved.

OIC, sorry. Check the "Installation and configuration of Gridlauncher" section of the first post. There's a link to the Wiki. The link to the download is there.

eShop download. And it is in the titlebanners folder, so it should be the Title menu.
Ok, but for the record banner images in titlebanners also show on the main grid (if the title ID matches the ID of a cart).

@RedHat
Thanks for posting the temp link to the Wiki!

@ihaveamac
Thank you for forcing the updater script to serve beta 128. Might as well announce the changes in that update here:
  • Includes updater version 2.1
  • Fixes wallpaper display in title error page

@Bobesh8
That title ID works for me if I force the title to use that ID and put a banner using that title ID in the titlebanners folder. Are you sure it's the correct title ID? And what is the exact name, location and format of the banner image file?

It's correct, and the location is "SD:/gridlauncher/titlebanners/1125899907535104-banner.png"

It happens with all my themes, last time I was booting CTRXplorer, the theme was that Fire Emblem if theme.
Can you post a link please? I can't reproduce this with any of my themes, even with "wait for sounds" disabled.

Can you attach the banner file please?

Hey, @mashers, something important reguarding sound. Try implementing this commit to the launcher and see if that fixes the problem.

Sometimes when I start an app (while rare) I get a loud screech, still looking for the issue.

I know for a fact, however, that this fixes an issue when switching from a theme that, say, has a boot sound to one that does not. With this, the launcher will no longer attempt to play a random chunk of memory.

you're back! did you get a reply from support?
Thanks! No, I didn't! Your post was the first I knew about it. They must have just done it :)

EDIT: Nvm
Thanks! I've just shut down my development VM, but I'll look at this tomorrow.

Do any Gridlauncher users with development experience use the launcher through CFW? If so, would you be prepared to help investigate this issue? I'm really sorry but without access to FW <9.3 there is really not a lot I can do to help :(
I've got some coding experience, but apparently not enough, because I tried looking at it earlier today and couldn't really figure it out.
With your help, I may be able to understand how your code works and all, but I would still need to understand how the coding for HANS works, and smea is probably too busy to personally help me understand his code, heh
