i havent seen anything on whether or not loadiine 4 changes how you load up VC titles since apprently they all work now. even searching through the vc thread doesnt really say whether or not loadine made any new changes

that being said, some things changed with loadiine 4, you don't have to inject stuff on the fly, you can just build your custom VC rom and launch it with loadiine.

Thanks for the link btw, I didn't know you could edit the VC config to have a better render for instance.

The only sensible way to live in this world is
:evil:WITHOUT RULES:evil:
lol, aren't we ironic.
(as well as insulting)

I get your point but there is a way to say what you're saying, maybe with better english, but mostly with no caps, !!!, or by just being polite. (or say "Pardon my French"...yeah, I'm the one being ironic now ;)) (just an observation of the posts of yours I've seen close to mine the past couple of days...but you can also discard my advice as well)

by "build your custom VC rom and launch it with loadiine." you mean I can make it from a rom I already have from years??. I looked for almost 100 pages of all loadiine and VC threads but there is no tutorial for making that. Can you show me the post where I can learn how to do my own VC builds (NDS I'm looking for)

I did, I have some wiiu games already running (and some VC NES, too), but as NDS VC wasnt compatible, and now it is, I thought there was a diferent and special way to do it.

you don't need to do much of anything special for nds (just some xml editing)

for n64, probably some hexediting pasting of a big endian rom.

nope same as nds all you need is a rom with ! wich all work lol
That's because they are already in Big Endian. Not everyone downloads those packs of the entire library.

I just tested. As I said before about Donkey Kong 64 being in big endian format (the rom), I made Mystical Ninja Big Endian format since the good rom I have is byteswapped. And it works perfectly fine so far, minus mempak emulation which seems spotty anyway.

So I just tested since you keep saying any good rom will work. A good rom doesn't mean big endian or little endian or byteswapped. A good rom means it has all the information and is a proper dump. SNES games were pretty bad at being bad dumps but working fine in emulators. Either missing headers, hag them stripped, or other hacks... They are all "good" formats though, it's just byte ordering. Mystical Ninja does not work in little endian or byteswapped format on the Wii U 64 VC emulator using the same exact ini that works with big endian format.

I do want to note though, there is a RomType setting for config INIs that might fix this issue, but I haven't done any testing on that. So for easiest rom usage, just make sure your roms are in big endian (z64 filetype if properly named) for N64 using tool64.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. As I said, I hadn't done any testing. I just spotted it when I went through the file. There is so many settings in there.... It can be hard to tell what is what haha

I guess this is why I can't get a different 64vc to run
