now before you just read the title and call me insane let me explain what i mean. this site http://www.jscreenfix.com/ claims it can unstuck stuck pixels and all that using the little static gif. problem is that the browser on 3ds is crap and its unloading the gif after 30 seconds and the gif is generally slower too. would be useful to have a homebrew that lets you put this gif on the problem area and the rest just dimmed. assuming it works at least.

Well it seems like it's just random noise. Should take about 5-10 minutes to create butttttt... No time for it atm :v)

Here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/download/536isr3e1q1762f/DeadPixelFixer[sup3rgh0st][v1].zip

The full range pf colors only display correctly on the top screen, so I hope that's where your dead pixels are. Run the app, then press Start to exit.
ah its on the bottom, i'l still try it since it cant hurt. even if it doesn't thank you so much for the effort! you too jerwuQu!

edit: yeah fraid it's not working. i'l leave it on for an hour tomorrow just to make sure.

As of november 2025, i can tell that this one WORKS. I've tried several methods, cleaning, pressing on the screen, also another homebrew wich changes colours pretty fast on the screen, saw every video and read all the tips known, none worked.

But this, this helped my 3DS XL screen wich had about 4 distracting stuck pixels in the middle of the screen, it's not magical however, you have to be patient, in my case i let my 3ds on for about 24 hours with this program and the change is already there, maybe i will put it another 24 or 48h just to make sure they are gone.

Just to be clear, stuck pixels are pixels wich are stuck in a random color, can be a pretty dark one (like brown, gray, dark blue, red, you call it) or a random color, wich can be annoying. Dead pixels in the other hand are just pure black and often they are always more than just 1, most likely due to physical damage in the LCD panel.

Thanks, internet savior.
