Hacking Just a question on cia installation speed

So as you all knows, cias takes a certain amount of time to get installed. Today I had to do some space in my microsd card to try some things with decrypt9. So instead of deleting Pokémon X (almost 2GB) into the data management, I simply copied the relative folder inside the id0/id1/titles over my pc and deleted it from the microsd. Well the icon is still on my home menu and when i copied back the folder the game started as usual.
So i was thinking: is there a way to replicate this? Like to "extract" the cia so we could just install a small file and copy the big one through the PC. The process should be really fast.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, probably skilled people already tried this but tried to search and found nothing

afaik, u need to install cia in 3ds, there are no other way around

And no, it can't be done. The 3DS "signs" the data into the SD card and stores it in a special format.
