Has anybody else had issues launching the MAME core on o3ds? If so, please name them. The re-occurring issue of mine is whenever I attempt to load a MAME core, it will take some time to "launch" and then wil pause at a glitched screen.

Are you running *hax2.5, have YouTube updated, and left the XML file in the same directory and named the same as the MAME core?

Some of my Mame roms are displayed sideways. I tried the rotation setting but they just get flipped, not rotated. I must be doing something wrong.

Mine worked for a time, but now when I try loading any of them, the black screen with the loading information goes through, but freezes. I tried reinstalling all folders, with no luck. Help?

Title page says... said:
Screen Rotation is broken as of now
'Nuff said.

I haven't updated YouTube, thanks for the tip.

Yeah, YouTube needs to be the latest version, but it's simple to update...**
**As long as you have 10.2...

I found that with mame 2000 (I think that's the one, they don't have unique names/identifiers currently tho), after I loaded a game, if I tried to load a different game it would just load the first one again. Had to quit & restart.

When (if ever) was it unbroken? And would it be worth downgrading?

Also, I know this is alot to ask from a lowly peasant such as myself, but I don't suppose there is a separate archive containing only the most stable builds of each emulator?

Never was unbroken, won't be unbroken until it's unbroken.

No. This IS a nightly system after all, it's all in Alpha as we speak.

Does anyone have some version of Street Fighter Super Turbo running in FBA or MAME on New 3DS 9.9 with 2.5 menu hax? I'm having issues running any roms in FBA CPS2 or MAME. MAME takes a while to launch and then freezes and FBA gives me errors about "failed to load archive" or something. I'm using FBA roms like hsf2j.zip.

I never heard the tip to update YouTube as well, strange that it makes a difference.

Can anyone confirm it's possible to run some form of SF2T on New 3DS with Retroarch?

Yes, I am aware of that. I just figured maybe somebody was keeping track of which releases broke things and which made them better as they roll out. Like I said, too much to ask.

It works. Do you have the parent roms setup (sf2.zip, sf2ce.zip, etc...)?

It REALLY is, since this is an automated bot we're essentially following. Whatever happens, happens. And unless someone can compile that list for us of what works and what doesn't... whelp.

Completely forgot about those, thanks for the tip, I'll try to add them and see if it works.

Edit: Thanks SeongGino for the tip, it's working now. Just used hsf2.zip (20MB) and hsf2j.zip, set up the diagnostic menu and now have it running!

Would it be possible to overclock pcfx to make games run faster? Or has anyone tried using HANS to overclock before launching it?
