Homebrew VC injection 3.0: HANS injection

facepalm GB? no GBC yes. the emulators the same for the most part except whats used for NES VC's has Multi-rom Support,

In my case, I have a GB VC ROM (SML2) and I've can inject some (a few of) NES and GBC roms on it (not all I tried) and they work too! Specifically, for me ATM:

Working: "Shantae (GBC)" and "Circus Charlie (NES)".
Not working: "Pokemon Emerald (GBC)" (Modded/patched ROM), "SMB" and "SMB3" (NES).

I need to test with more games and see what happens, but, I think isn't at all correct to say "only GBC with NES and vice versa".

like i mentioned a page back " Nes roms must be converted with tnes" run it thru and you'll be fine.

the two best GBC VC hosts i've used that seem to have great compatbility/sucess is WL2 & Link's Awkening

can some one help me it freezes when resetting save data im using golf vc its only one i got and the eshop spoffer could be patched so i can't get another one

i've Just logged into the eShop just fine with the Spoof so if your afraid of patching soon, get while you can Wario Land II and/or Link's Awakening DX as they all have been reported thru the thread for working. and i was unaware golf actually Saved anything. Games that only save verry small (just scores) and not ment to do actual Game saves will either freeze when initializing save or not save at all (for VC hosts like that save states are the only option)

I've checked it out, they seem to be in .c and .h files, I'm not sure how would I use them though. Should I use Linux for these type of files or..?

That's the source code. You want the binary file.

I don't think this is in usable form, nor I see any binary files... unless I'm missing something? I downloaded the attachment right from the OP.

Yeah, I guess!... But, pitifully, I don't have any GBC/NES VC game, only GB... About my tries with VC injection, after trying with a lot of GB/GBC/NES roms, definitelly for me problematic ones ATM are:

NES: SMB2 (U) and SMB3 (U, E)... SMB rom is working right now.
GBC: Pokemon Gold (SPA), Pokemon Silver (SPA), Pokemon Crystal (SPA), Pokemon Emerald (ENG/Patched rom)... Other PKM main games are working fine (even Yellow version), and big filesize games like Metal Gear Solid, Shantae, Zelda OoS and V-Rally are too!

All of those roms work fine. It's probably the VC you're trying to inject into.

Possible yes!... But, as I said, I only have 2 GB VC games... Maybe injection is better using GBC/NES VC ones!

NES is the best, as it has a multirom menu.

You can inject nes and gbc at the same time.

Thanks for your answers, guys!... Now, when I have any opportunity, I will try to buy a NES VC game and see what happens!
