Oh. Still, that's pretty cool.Sadly is the first level only. The programmer of the originals himself release it. The link is from his page.
Anyway, it does work when injected into VC.

HxD first makes a BACKUP, then it writes the file, to the SD. it's basically rewriting the whole file so this will take a LONG time, I recommend you do this on the PC and then copy the .romfs file to your SD.On the SD.
Can you reword that one for me? I don't seem to understand what you're hinting at.HxD first makes a BACKUP, then it writes the file, to the SD. it's basically rewriting the whole file so this will take a LONG time, I recommend you do this on the PC and then copy the .romfs file to your SD.
I had the same issue once, for some reason after the "backup" progress bar, the "saving" progressbar never showed up. so I thought it was done and exited, only to find the file was unchanged.
Make sure it saves and you copy the one that ends in .bin and not .bin.bak.Can you reword that one for me? I don't seem to understand what you're hinting at.
I'm not retarded.Make sure it saves and you copy the one that ends in .bin and not .bin.bak.
You're the one that said reword it... Figure it out yourself then.I'm not retarded.
You know how it is.You're the one that said reword it... Figure it out yourself then.
I mean, I figured out how to edit the stuff out in HxD, but the problem is the file won't actually save. The little floppy disk button is grayed out. I'm trying other hex editors atm. What? I did figure out how to do this...
I'm using HxD. It's working fine. You should be figuring that out.I mean, I figured out how to edit the stuff out in HxD, but the problem is the file won't actually save. The little floppy disk button is grayed out. I'm trying other hex editors atm.

Right. It isn't a read-only file, and it's literally placed on my Desktop.if its greyed out its either because its a read only file. its in a place where it cant save. or you didnt change anything to the file. its that simple.
Your rom can be named whatever. Make sure you delete the file in the rom folder. (That's the bundled rom.)Right. It isn't a read-only file, and it's literally placed on my Desktop.

Alright, I got somewhere. I managed to successfully edit the .bin file and save it as a .romfs. Now my issue is that when I load the game through HANS, and apply the .romfs, it loads the actual game. Should the .gbc inside the "rom" folder be named something?
Thought so. Did that and built the .romfs, testing now.Your rom can be named whatever. Make sure you delete the file in the rom folder. (That's the bundled rom.)
I named the rom the exact same thing, extension and all, as the gbc rom already inside the romfs.Your rom can be named whatever. Make sure you delete the file in the rom folder. (That's the bundled rom.)
You don't need to do that. That might even screw it up.I named the rom the exact same thing, extension and all, as the gbc rom already inside the romfs.
I edited my post. You don't need to do that. That might even screw it up.
Wait. Are you saying I can inject NES ROMs into GBC VC? If I can, can I also inject them to GB VC?instructions cant get any more simple
1: dump VC with Braindump
2: extract with RomFSExtractor
3: Replace rom file in Dump/rom/ with your GB/GBC/NES Rom (GB w/ GB only, NES in NES/GBC vc's must be converted via tnes!)
4: rebuild using RomFSBuilder and save as short title ID.romfs (pokemon X's short-id for example is 00055D00 so if say your VC was 00056E00 name your that but with .romfs ) and put it in SD\hans\ (running hans before hand will tell you the id and what titleid.romfs is looking for!)
5 open your resulting .romfs in HxD press Ctrl E set end offset to FFF and delete selected offsets!
6: Save changes (and copy to "SD:\hans\" if your .romfs was saved on PC Instead!) and run HANS
7: ??????????????
8 Profit/Enjoy
i hate to even be a little bit mean or rude but if you cant follow that.. well then godbless because not to many here will hand-hold Help as that will teeter into Piracy at that point!
