Does anyone has some good tips to make a good 3D effect with the background ? because damn i cant make it work...

I wonder what causes the random garbled mess on both screens when loading homebrew, like just launching HBL gives us garbled stuff on both screens, and a lot of other homebrew act similarly. Wonder if it's be possible to get rid of that and just have a black screen, or even an image?

Was listening to Aoi Shiori, the OP to Anohana, when I saw that you could make custom 3D images for MenuHax. I still like calling it themehax though. EDIT: Both are steroscopic so yeh

EDIT: Updated with new stuffs + change to menuhax

Hey look, I made a thing!
imagedisplay.png

I did this in two layers, the background layer being identical on both sides. The foreground layer, I moved 10 pixels towards the center (15 made me go cross eyed and by the time my eyes adjusted, it was just about too late).

I would bet that if a third image were added (or if either one of the images were repositioned) at more or less than the 10 pixel difference I have currently, a third layer of depth could be achieved.

Oh, something I MUST know... Is there a 3D image viewer for the 3DS that these type of pictures will work with? What I would really like to see is a program that can take an image and show it in stereoscopic 3D, and allowing you to adjust the 3D effect. Then when the desired 3D level is found, we could snap a 800x240 image of it.

Man, I wish that you could install a number of images and randomly display one of those, so many good images from this thread that I'd love to use.

Could maybe ask for it as a feature request on Github. Not sure how open yellows8 is to such requests though.

When I try to do this, I get an error saying it "Failed to get the filesize of the SD PNG"
O3DS

EDIT: NVM. I messed up and added the .png when it wasnt needed!

is there a youtube video out about this?

I'm curious to see when and for how long this image shows.
