Edited my town acres and moved buildings and followed the guidelines, but my game crashes when loading up now.

The pink squares represent where I put a flower which is where a building is (villager houses on the right, player houses on top-left) or bridge or PWP.

Edit: Removed placeholders and it seems to work now?
Edit 2: I also misplaced bridges, which was really stupid but didn't crash the game

for future reference, I recommend putting patterns AROUND buildings (in game) for placeholders. plus you have a nifty buffer for placing trees.

another question as well, is there a code for unused wrapping paper? i tried the "presents~wrapping paper" item but it givse a wrapped balloon set item instead of actual wrapping paper... it would be great if unused wrapping paper could be added to the dropdown list because it is such a hassle to buy in game...

I was searching this thread to find a past reference but i can't seem to find it >_< anyways, how do you make a mixed perfect fruit tree in nlse? i saw it somewhere but i forget the flag settings...

Having three slopes is not a good idea.

marc_max, been following/using this off and on for a little bit now and went head-first into resculpting my town last night. It went pretty well actually. Misplaced a building or two by a space, easily fixed and had my river flowing the wrong direction in a few spots, also easily fixed.

My main issue was that I wanted to move where my river came into the town, but there's no way to change the cliff acres now? I seem to remember that being part of the editor back when I first checked it out. I could start the river on a different acre just fine, but then it came out of nowhere and the acre above had a waterfall pouring into nowhere. Was that feature horribly broken?

Yes, for some reason it was broken!
I had the feature fixed in my hard drive, but didn't upload it. Thanks for the warning :-)

You may need to force a cache refresh to see changes (Ctrl+F5).

you can make an acnlram.bin via export using kaphotics nlse, then import into this editor [it autosaves on exit btw]. There are little arrows in the water : )

What's the point of having the river flow to the right (especially the acres with beach on the right) if you can't have a waterfall coming from the left? I'd love a beach on the right side instead of the left but I feel like the game would crash, plus I'd have to do it manually

Quick question, it says that the RAM way would work with anything below 9.5.0-22, yet I have 9.4.0-21U and it's not working anymore? It was just recently working and my DS updated while I was asleep, but it's still under 9.5?

I wasn't aware that was stored. Is it stored in the villager data block somewhere?

It's related to the Town Tree I believe. When it's grown enough people can sit down on it and see how your town developed. Dunno where it's stored on the actual save file though.

Unfortunately my new save file is not at a point where you can sit on the tree and see the town history.

If that is not a problem then I don't mind donating my save.

Not sure if anyone has had the same but ever since using the editor I never receive mail anymore? Also villagers keep saying Pete is in town but he is no where to be found! Does anyone know how to fix this?

Did you change your Player Name? It screws with the Player ID and therefore corrupts the mailing system for your player.
