ROM Hack MH4U 99999 atk.

Just saw someone online with a weapon that has 99999 atk and 30k drg. AFAIK, powersaves doesn't allow this yet, so I'm assuming he edited his save. Anyone have any ideas?

RAM or save editing, no big deal. Seems pretty easy to do considering it's just editing a number. Take a couple RAM dumps, search for your attack value, and put 99999 (in hex) after it

How would you get a ram dump? Since you can't open the browser while running mh4u

You're right. But you can still use the browser =X . Anyway, you can edit the save if you use rom or cias.

N3DS uses the skater browser..............unless I missed something and its possible to install spider now or dump with skater.

As an alternative, you can use NTR CFW on N3DS, it has mem dump/editing.

Sdf didn't work for me and don't have cubic ninja so can't try ntr.

Using xtreme cheats online spoils the fun and is a risk to get banned!

He killed gogmazios in 2 seconds, and with an extremely high raw atk and element, the hack check didn't apply to it, just like the 20k element/status weapons. The hex value for max weapon attack is 14 and using something like 1C only ends up setting the values to 28 atk with 100 affinity on dualblades.

Savedatafiler but you also need the save decrypter since there's another layer of encryption.

Well I guess ill have to get searching for that Value. Ive been through a few working with apms save editor. Ive been making a spreadsheet listing all editable values for weapons and armors and as of yet have not found a massive raw value. We had come across 5B which gives a little more raw but comes with 100 defence. Only issue being your weapon has to be level 1 or 00 in the values.
