Ask that in the appropriate forum.

you should search the forums as that question has been asked a billion times. The admin here should make the search button about 10 times bigger maybe people might be tempted to actually use it then if not people who do not search should be banned for a few hours or even better their address posted here so as I can go round to their house and give em a slap lol

Wow, now I need to delete all my PSX games to create an emuNAND, just to get the emulator running again...

...and not having any games to play.

what about nand blocks corruption?
Not sure :D
Probably the SysNAND blocks corruptions.
I had some crashes or something with Retroarch already but nothing happened to my 3DS.
Was still able to boot it.
If something doesn't booted correctly (PastaCFW Coldboot / CTR Boot manager), I just removed the SD Card, booted my 3DS and made a normal shutdown.
After this, I reinserted the SD Card and everything worked again :)

EDIT:
Probably there's something while the boot-process which is clearing the RAM or whatever (reset stuff?) which is happen while booting SysNAND which isn't happening while booting EmuNAND:
Sometimes when PastaCFW / Coldboot + CTR_BootManager doesn't work correctly after leaving GBA VCs or shutdown 3DS while in SysNAND PastaCFW, I just have to boot SysNAND in Clean mode (without any Exploit-Stuff) and reboot the 3DS to get PastaCFW Coldboot + CTR_BootManager to work again.

But yea:
Never bricked my SysNAND while using RetroArch since the first 3DS-Nightly Build. And RetroArch crashed many times already.

Hey guys! So any news I missed those days? Last for me was the fact that all the .cia builds were broken. Still the same? Any improvements of something? :gba:

@aliaspider, one last thing with the backlight, you might want to consider turning the backlight back on when the user presses home; it's really easy to do, and you can just switch the light back off when the user resumes. (https://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-development.360646/page-205#post-5713249).
thanks for the suggestion, I just added that, I used an aptHook instead since aptGetStatus didn't work well for me.
the aptHook has another advantage that it can also be used to restore the LCD backlight on exit.

turning the backlight back on when the user presses home, does not work very well with .cia never turned back on again sit forced to close the .cia and open it again

On my way for the new Neo Geo core, Aliaspider. Let me few minutes. Can you confirm me that the others core .cia of the new builds are working on N3DS?

I can confirm that gambatte, gpsp, ps1, snes9x and fceumm cia are all working for me on n3ds emunand.

A hook, huh? I'll have to check it out. Might be more convenient than getStatus.

it takes a while to boot, much like SSB on o3DS.
did it stay that way for more than 30 sec ?

no way, its always blocked at black screen. even after 2 minutes. tried with gateway, cakes, reinand, all the same.
