hey guys, whenever i flash a game to the nor, i can play for it for about an hour. Then after that it freezes makes that 70s copy machine sound and the screen goes all glitchy, then when i try to start the game again it wont even go to the start screen.. anyone know the fix to this? all games off NOR work.

Make sure the ROMs are clean (besides the SRAM patch) and the contacts of your micro SD card are clean before copying over. From the sounds of it from your other thread, the contacts sound like they could use a bit of cleaning. Also, it's possible your SD or NOR is going bad.

the ezflash itself is relatively new, and did this the day i got it. how do you suggest i clean my contacts? i tried alcohol and cotton swab once, and what do you mean by clean except the SRAM patch? is that the save patch?

That small of contacts a soft cloth should be fine for, unless they're visibly dirty. Yeah, it's the save patch. What about your SD? If it's mini, then it probably has some age on it and it wouldn't surprise me if it's littered with bad sectors.

Not really, unless you want to order a replacement NOR and solder it in. Still, you should eliminate any other variables. Try different adapters and different SD cards.
okay thanks for the help. soo god damn annoying, bought this to play rom hacks on it, can't do that.

Maybe someone else will show up that is more familiar with your problem that will have a better solution. Just because I can't think of anything else that would cause that problem doesn't mean it's not something else. I'd check this thread again daily for a few days before giving up. Also, google around to see if someone else has had your problem.
