So since a certain somebody told me for a few days now to create a thread for it here we go.
I wrote this software called gc-to-vpad, which, as the title says, replaces the gamepad input data with the input of the gamecube adapter, allowing you to play every wiiu game with a gamecube controller just like that.
You can use the pre-compiled html files on your webserver, make sure you ran the kernel exploit before starting gc-to-vpad and it should work fine.
The installer for this is only for 3.1.0 and 5.3.2 so if you want support for your pre-5.3.2 firmware maybe we can do some stuff to get it to work.

As the title says it basicaly makes the gc controler on port one being able to do the inputs, it gets rumble and such too, i advice people to test it i found it preety neat for mk8.

Sweet.

I assume not every button is mapped (I'm talking about select, one of the two left triggers, home)

I really know how is playing Splatoon JUMP on a Gamecube controller...lol
Great news @FIX94 !
SO far the theory is this breaks splatoon or splatton breaks this since shared memory region or something, anyone that uses splatoon could try this and report back btw.

Yep Splatoon doesn't work with this. All other games so far work fine for me. thx for the work !

Wow, very very impressive indeed, can finally play Mario Kart 8 the way it should be played :D Hope it's not too hard for a programmer noob like me to set up XD

Oh, we host the files ourselves...? I'm lost lol.
Not to mention Wind Waker HD!

Although are clickable analogue sticks mapped?

I don't know, I don't even know how to set this up, that's how much I suck at programming :wacko: I know there's the GC/VPad thing on Fix 94's site where you load the exploit, but I don't even know what else to do, no one else has elaborated on how to work it.

Nah, don't worry :) Just wondering if someone in general who has the README/tried it themselves knows

Hopefully, at some point it can be compiled and hosted, as this is indeed a very excellent driver for games that use the adapter. Why Nintendo didn't add support for games like MK8, I'll never know lol.
