Original "Cave Story" game is freeware, just search, find and download it! Then, decompress and put it on your SD (into a folder) and run it (.exe file) with NXEngine .. 2048, I suppose, just only run it!
Good, I managed to get Cave Story working, but I have no clue how do so with 2048

Maybe also is necessary download some game file! As I said you, I'm not very interested on that, then I don't test it yet!

Also, what's the deal with the scaling on RetroArch? Almost (if not all) cores looks "bugged" when bilinear filtering is off.

well... there is not way to fit three pixels in the space for two pixels, so unless you use integer scaling (1x in this case) there will be artifacts without bilinear (and even with bilinear, for instance life bars in megaman)

So why BlargSnes and the Stevice10 FCEUMM3DS port doesn't have those problems? They do something different?

Nearest neighbor is usually what's used even when it looks a little odd, and bilinear scaling looks like you smeared vaseline over the system.

do they have black bars around the image?
Yes, samething on RetroArch catsfc, FCEUMM and Genesis Plus GX. But the RetroArch ones have some problems on the image.

Nothing strange happens if you disable the bilinear filter on QuickNES and run with Mario on Super Mario Bros.?
Also, the bilinear on/off is broken, even if it is set to off it will be enabled, you have to set it every time.

You can find them on their build server here: LINK

NEW! Here's a video of the SNES emulator CatSFC running on Ironhax 2.1/System firmware 10.0!

3DSX is confirmed working on Ninjhax 2.X (Includes Ironhax, Tubehax, and OoThax) on the latest firmwares (up to 10.1).
CIA is confirmed working on firmware 9.2 and below.

How do I install retroarch sorry I'm a bit new to homebrew I'm on o3ds

How should I report this error for CatSFC Plus when I start Super Mario RPG it's the English NTSC-U version I do have the latest version After I go to the menu enter my name and watch the scene where Peach gets kidnapped by Bowser then Mario runs out of his house to save peach and I just get a Black Screen is there anyone that can fix this? I'm using a New 3DSXL.

That's already been reported five times. Lol. It's not an issue with the 3DS version, it's a problem CatSFC.
