I'm trying to decide on what tablet to get this holiday. I want something no lower than 9 inches in screen size and preferably with Android 5.1 on it. With that said, considering that I'm trying to go no higher than 120 I get that it's hard to find such a device. I've spotted a few Dragon Touch tablets within my price range yet they all have android 4.4 or below. I GUESS I could deal with that as long as I know that there is proper community and manufacturer support. After two consecutive years of being burned by JXD I don't think I could go through another crappy tablet again. Anyone here have any experience with Dragon Touch devices? If not, do you have any suggestions on a tablet that fits the following?

- 9+ inch screen
- nothing less than 1GB of ram
- Android 4.4 or above
- continuous community support

its hard what you want a cheap all dancing kicking device.

for a start all device with 1gb have they continuous community support ended now, really. for 120 which is your price range, which is going to be hard finding a device like that. even the old 2013 nexus is still $180.

@LightyKD i dont understand why you do this to yourself with all this cheap Chinese knock-off's android devices, save up and buy a decent android device.

but that's just like my opinion, man.

The only devices that typically have continuous support are name brand quality products
As said above save your money and stop buying no name trash from china

I's also considering devices from Acer and Asus. They tend to do affordable devices well. I just want something that allows me to draw properly for once lol

Try the new Amazon Fire tablets.

The 7-inch model is only $50, which is absolutely insane considering the specs it's packing. It doesn't have much storage, but you can get more space with a MicroSD card. Probably not what you want since it's only 7 inches. However, they do provide an 8-inch and a 10-inch model. The 8-inch is $150 while the 10-inch is $230.

The Fire tablet is running Fire OS, which is based on Android Lollipop. You won't have the play store, however you can side load apps. Perhaps someone over at XDA will figure out how to install custom roms on it.

The new Fire tablets seem OK. Trust me the 50 dollar price is awesome but I've grown tired of trying to draw on a 7 inch screen.
