Yeah QuickNES is messed-up. One error looked to be about resolution and another about the null driver.

I've tried Donkey Kong, Bomber Man, and Mega Man 1.

They run full speed on the title screens but crash as soon as you press anything.

Oh. Yeah, same problem I had. Megaman 3 has the same problem - plus the horribly over-stretched picture.

Super Mario Brothers on the other hand doesn't show the game's graphics. It only loads a blue screen. You can press Start and hear a few seconds of the familiar Mario theme but after that it crashes justs like the others.

Re: Quicknes

Yeah I just asked and it's only building but the pixel format is not supported in RA 3ds yet..
But I guess I won't remove it so it can keep building when it's fixed.

Crashing on input seems weird, my first idea would be that it's an endianness issue but IDK..

That's interesting. Is that also a problem on the Windows version of the emulator, or is it a matter of the pixel format not being implemented in this particular port of the core? If so, is porting it a priority or is it a 'it'll happen when it happens' kinda thing?

Thanks for keeping us updated!

RetroArch 3ds doesn't have support for that pixel format.
It's not widely used but I think it will be implemented.

I see. Well that's unfortunate. Thank you and the developers for trying, though! Hopefully it won't be too long until that format is supported.

Oh, that's pretty darn cool. Does it have any advantages over GameYob, or should I wait until it's more developed before making the switch? Thanks for the quick reply.
Gambatte is pretty accurate, for one. So ALL games will work, every single thing will run perfectly on it, from Pikachu's voice in Pokemon Yellow to anything else really. Also, it doesn't suffer from the constant audio crackling that Gameyob does.

After the vsync hiccup thing is fixed I'll use it constantly no doubt. I've been waiting for this.

OK, going through the latest Build as .cia (2015-09-16 @1810Hrs). So far, the only Emu I have had a problem with is Nestopia(LSide Screen Only), Virtual Boy(Speed), mGBA(Speed) and Snes9x Next(Speed Fluctuates). Genesis+GX kind of has speed issues with SonicCD, but it is still very Playable. Granted I am not testing all the Emulators, but a good amount of them. All of them except the 2 I mentioned seem to be running at Full speed. Granted gpSP on DKC, when entering 1 or more Players, there seems to be sluggishness in the Video that does not confirm with the FPS (still at around 59-60FPS). But other than that, no problems so far. I am testing 2-3 Games with each test.
When Replacing Builds, be sure to delete the old Build, exit the Installer/Uninstaller, make sure it is Gone, also remove the 2 Config Files in the RetroArch Directory.
Actually, PicoDrive gave a odd Lockup. Tried running a MKII Hack and got this:
Warning: wanted to map@02000000, got 0x83bc320
Had to force Shutdown. But MKII Unlimited Hack worked perfectly
However, when I finally went to Quit RetroArch on PicoDrive, it Locked Up when trying to Save the CFG prior to having you Press Start to go to the 3DS Screen. So I think PicoDrive has some Bugs in it.

Should already be fixed.

Wow. I didn't think SonicCD would work. I just tried it and I was getting mostly good speeds. Oddly enough, Palmtree Panic Past was full speed, but the Present was more or less 50-55. I'd say that's still pretty impressive!
